@MercPurdy Do you actually think it’s a positive that the Niners play 50 miles south of the city? In a barren stretch of land that doesn’t feature a restaraunt or store front for a half mile, and has literally zero walkability?

This is where I remind folks that the freeways work both ways. So it’s okay for fans in the South Bay (where there have always been more season ticketholders) to drive 50 miles to a game in SF, but not for the fewer fans in SF to drive 50 miles to one in Santa Clara. Because…..?

@MercPurdy This is such an odd stance to take. They’re the San Francisco 49ers. The fans in the South Bay can drive up the peninsula eight times a year, they did it for 50 years. It’s embarrassing that the Niners play 50 miles south of the city.
