One thing is clear: no matter what happens, my opinion will remain the same. For XRP to function on a global scale without volatility in every transaction, the price must be high.

Is @JoelKatz right? Let's break it down. David Schwartz just said if rational wealthy investors believed there was even a 1% chance XRP hits $10K — they'd already be bidding it to $20 today. He's not wrong about the math. But let's audit the track record first. This is the same David Schwartz who said he didn't think XRP would ever hit $0.25. He started selling at $0.10 because it "seemed insane." His words. Not ours. He even admitted publicly — "I have a poor prediction record." We respect that honesty. We're going to use it. Here's what the efficient market argument misses. Markets price what they understand. Right now the market doesn't fully understand what's coming. Use case 1 — DTCC DTCC processes approximately $2 quadrillion in securities annually. Their own patent — US 2025/0078162 A1 — names Ripple DLT by name as the destination ledger. Hidden Road is already live on DTCC's NSCC clearing $3 trillion annually on XRPL rails. The market hasn't priced that yet. Use case 2 — Nostro/Vostro accounts $27 trillion sits locked in nostro/vostro accounts globally. Dead capital. Deployed by banks to pre-fund cross-border transactions. XRP eliminates the need for it entirely. When that capital starts moving — the demand for XRP as the bridge isn't a theory. It's a function. The market hasn't priced that yet either. Use case 3 — Global FX settlement $7.5 trillion moves through FX markets every single day. SWIFT cannot do final settlement — their own documentation confirms it. Garlinghouse confirmed SWIFT settlement takes 270,000 seconds. XRP settles in 3-5 seconds. The volatility window is too small to require hedging. Banks don't move to new infrastructure until regulation is clear and someone goes first. 2026 is the year both of those conditions are being met simultaneously. His own words from 2017 come back here. David Schwartz said — "XRP can't be cheap." His explanation: a lower price means more units required to represent the same value in flight. Which means higher prices aren't speculation. They're a mechanical requirement of the system working at scale. He said that. We're just quoting him. He also no longer works at Ripple. He's retired. Posting from Maui. 🌺 Nothing wrong with that. He built the ledger. He earned it. But efficient market theory from a beach chair — from someone who by his own admission isn't inside the building anymore — deserves some scrutiny. The honest answer Nobody knows the price. Not us. Not analysts. Not institutions. And apparently — not even the architect. We don't predict prices at ISO Ledger. We audit the plumbing. Yes. We audit everything. Even David Schwartz. 🤣 🛡
David 'JoelKatz' Schwartz@JoelKatz

@BTC2Zero @uptownsaul If there were a few very rich, very rational people who really believed that there was a 1% chance that XRP could hit $10K in 10 years, they'd bid XRP up to at least $20 today. Why aren't they? Conspiracy?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but @JoelKatz opinions on $XRP price are still just one man's opinion. Also, his 'declarations' regarding price are always subject to interpretation. There are conditions, containers, and other considerations to every 'concrete' position.
Craig Buske@craigbuske

@Acquired_Savant So why is David Schwartz flat out saying that XRP is not going to skyrocket or even get to $20? He’s basically making fun of all those who believed in XRP.

If you missed yesterday's $XRP announcement, this is what I was referring to. Most people still don't get the significance, so allow me to elaborate: During SEC v. Ripple Labs it surfaced that there were 1,700 NDA's between Ripple and other companies. A lot of people speculated that those NDA's pertained to banks. Yesterday's announcement is not Speculation. Ripple publicly confirmed not just 1,700, but 13,000 banks connected through their system where $12.5T flows. Putting that into perspective, there are 4,336 registered 'Banks and Savings Institutions' in the United States. There are also 4,287 'Credit Unions'. Many of these institutions are international throughout Western civilization. That means that Ripple is now promulgated into almost every western (anglo-society) banking institution. That is where the $12.5T number comes from. But you don't care about that right? You want to know what it will do for the price of XRP. Let's go apply the Bakkes Pipeline (Stock to flow) model: If 20,000,000,000 $XRP move $12.5 Trillion annually the average price per $XRP is $625. That $589 number and the chart I've shared many times do not look so far out of reach now, do they? There is hopium, and then there is this 👇

@matteopelleg Not all. Best way to think about it is that scene in Matrix I after Neo is unplugged and recovering and tells Morpheus his eyes hurt. “That’s because you’ve never used them before.” Rest now, Young Matteo. The answers are coming.

@MonicaLongSF @rdqsknrwff Custody is the foundation… and Ripple is quietly building exactly where institutions need it. While most focus on price, the real game is infrastructure. This is how adoption scales globally. XRP isn’t just part of the system… it’s positioned to power it.

Ripple Custody has been on a tear the past few months. Digital asset custody is the foundation for any enterprise moving into crypto, whether you’re a bank or a fintech. Ripple Custody is built for how and where customers already operate — customizable to their needs, not one-size-fits-all. With Ripple Custody you get: - Flexible deployment (SaaS, on-prem, hybrid) - Integrations across payments, tokenization, and staking - Stronger controls + simpler workflow These capabilities are clearly resonating, with new global customers like Kbank and Kyobo Life Insurance joining BBVA, Intesa Sanpaolo, AMINA Bank, and others on our roster. Proud of the team for meeting our customers where they are, and continuing to ship a top-tier product.
Ripple@Ripple

Without secure, compliant custody, every digital asset strategy — including payments, tokenization, and staking — becomes harder to scale: on.ripple.com/4vOR97g Custody is the governance layer that everything else runs on. Learn how Ripple Custody is making that possible for institutions worldwide.

Andrew, TPUSA is dead. Charlie was TPUSA. He was the brain, the passion, the life, and the only reason millions paid attention. The second he was murdered, TPUSA was killed as well. It would never survive without him, which is why I believe he was killed. Whoever killed Charlie knew they were killing TPUSA as well. The influence, and movement would be stopped. This was their motive. Now we’re watching staffers play dress-up like Charlie in a movement they didn’t build. Taking over the Charlie Kirk show is like Rush Limbaugh’s PR guy taking over his microphone and pretending nothing changed. It would be like a backstage staffer grabbing the mic and pretending to replace Michael Jackson. Nobody would buy it, and nobody buys this either. In fact, they are starting to loathe it. People aren’t stupid, they see right through it. You can inherit the desk Charlie sat at, the sponsors that donated, and the microphone, but you cannot inherit Charlie’s presence, passion, brains, or the connection Charlie had with his audience. What’s being sold now by TPUSA is a replica pretending to be the original. Same branding, same studio, same name, but no soul, no authenticity, and no Charlie. Please stop.
Andrew Kolvet@AndrewKolvet

So let me get this straight... Baylor tells TPUSA we can invite community members (non-students) to our event, but then reverses their decision after some progressive students complained, forcing us to tell 4,500 ticket holders not to come. Baylor then greenlights a progressive counter-programming event "All Are Neighbors" and decides community members CAN attend that. The Southern Baptist school's hypocrisy is documented right here in the student newspaper for all to see. What gives, @Baylor?

1/4 We all saw 7 billion XRP withdrawn (tinyurl.com/28sszt75) from exchanges in February, the largest monthly outflow since November 2025. An interesting development on supply revealed itself this month. Here's our read. 🧵👇 Learn more about Evernorth: evernorth.xyz/blog-post-03-1…
