#farmers, always remember where your risk is. Don't allow yourself to get caught up in grand ideas of topping the market. Know your risk, make marketing decisions based on managing that risk, not coffee shop bragging rights. #agtwitter #agmarkets

@creation247 It's bizarre to me how 100% of people say we tried the NAZI thing & it clearly doesn't work..... But COMMUNISM has also been tried dozens of times, killed even more people & yet for some reason I don't understand people still think it's a good idea.... 🤔

@EmeryGentry91 Cattle are more apt to rub on things and break stuff. I wouldn't want to have cattle on one of those fields and be liable for the potential damage to stuff.

When TSA has been tested, it has failed to stop up to 80 percent of weapons smuggled through security. TSA to this day has never actually prevented a terrorist attack. There is not a single documented case of a terror plot foiled by TSA. On top of that, TSA was formed in response to 9-11, but 9-11 was not a failure of airport security. Airport security had basically nothing to do with it. So while this stand off over TSA funding continues, keep in mind that the agency shouldn't exist and is historically terrible at its job. We should privatize airport security again. Then it can't be used as a bargaining chip by politicians.

@Biblicalman @Gods_Seed1 Catholic tradition doesn’t say works save you. I’m in process of converting from a Baptist background. I’ve dug into it. Dispensationalism isn’t what any Christian’s believed until about 150 years ago.

Which tradition? Catholic tradition says works save you. Reformed tradition says God picks who goes to hell before they're born. Charismatic tradition says you need tongues. Baptist tradition says you need baptism first. Tradition gave you four different answers. The Bible gives you one. 2 Timothy 2:15, rightly divide the word of truth. Not the tradition of men.

You don't sacrifice animals. You don't stone adulterers. You don't keep the Sabbath. Congratulations. You already believe in dispensationalism. You just don't know the word for it.

@gatorgar @ItIsHoeMath I just checked this list. While AIPAC spent over $3 Million in "lobbying" which was fairly low on your list. They spent about $37 Million super PAC spending during the 2024 election cycle. So.... riddle me that.

@cameron_korth @BenRand10 @amandaa_fuller Yes. They don't always have much leverage, but they always have some. It's not worth debating whether the profit margins are black or red ink. But we can see the net change based on the numbers we know. So we can see have the packers gained or lost leverage.

@meathead_prof My mom just had her 3rd Inbody scan since joining a local gym. She's been an athlete her whole life (college basketball) started running 15 years ago and done a couple marathons. Thin as a rail. She gained 3 lbs. of muscle since September. Building the armor.

@Biblicalman @BiblicalBeauty I listened to the novel on audible while driving tractor baling hay one summer. Phenomenal book. I kept thinking, there are way too many loose ends, there's no way he's going to bring this all together. And then, one by one each loose end was neatly tied in a satisfying way.

@BiblicalBeauty Jim, was the best portrayal of the count. This Masterpiece series (just finished it with my wife) is the best literary adaptation. But both have nothing on the book.

@douglaswils @PLeithart So was the Universal Church in err from the beginning in your opinion? There seems to be much in common between Rome and conservative Presbyterians. Covenant theology, eschatology etc, but a disagreement over the use of icons seems to spin to merely being “anti-Catholic”.

@douglaswils @PLeithart Ok. The use of icons. How can that council be the turning point when the use of icons goes centuries prior. Second Nicea was a response to rising iconoclasm (due to the threat from Muslim armies) to affirm the use of icons. Not for adoration, which is for God alone.

Protestant nationalists can envision, in great detail, a world where Protestants make all the calls. They cannot envision a world where Protestants and Catholics and Orthodox are reunited in one body. An odd combination of robust political and shrunken ecclesial imagination.

I used to be entirely in the camp that said you should kick your kids out at 18 and force them to live independently and make their own way in the world. I don’t feel that way at all anymore. I want all my kids to live with us until they get married. Even after they’re married, if they want to live on our property, or close by, my wife and I would love that. The important thing is to teach your kids responsibility, which we’re doing. They need to contribute and help around the house, which all of our kids do from a very young age. Provided you aren’t raising ungrateful useless moochers, why kick them out? Why drive them away from your family home? I don’t see the point in it anymore. I actually like my kids and like being around them. Maybe they’ll all end up scattered to the wind. But I’d prefer to keep the family together. Why wouldn’t I?
