Over the past few months my priors on how long it takes to ship have been breaking constantly (especially since Fable 5 and GPT-5.6) Old model: limited human iteration loops Then: AI made iteration fast and cheap Now: even those AI loops are significantly more autonomous and effective The tricky part is that I have to teach myself now to say "yes" to more ideas rather than self-censor because of an outdated intuition on time estimates. What used to take hours (even with AI!) can now be one prompt to Devin working on it in the background for 15 minutes This is also why you cannot be a serious engineer or product lead anymore if you're not using these tools to constantly ship - you risk having your intuition lag behind the capabilities of the agents/tools at your team's disposal

I created a font called Ghost Font that only humans can read. Tested it in Fable and GPT 5.6 Sol Ultra and neither was able to decipher it correctly.

10 years ago, @AliKAfridi and I started working together as he joined @lightbank. I met him through Spencer Lazar and @pboyce, who he has spent his summer working with at @generalcatalyst and his unbridled enthusiasm for the world of startups impressed me back then and continues to impress me today. 10 years into this journey together, I’ve seen him grow not only as an investor, but as a person. He brings wisdom and reason well beyond his age and is the first person to call me on my shit (and help me grow from from it). He’s incredibly selfless and brings a we > me mentality with a moral imperative that is rare to find. I’m extremely grateful to call him my “Partner” at @EqualVentures and can attest that if I were a startup founder, he’d be one of my very first calls.
