Found my first early-access bug in Subnautica 2. "Exit without saving" does, in fact, sometimes save. This means I got stuck with a save where I was in kissing distance of the [spoiler] leviathan with a 100% broken ship, without being able to load back. Shit scared me so bad LMAO

To not seem completely ignorant to business, if I'm a vendor that has a $10 card and someone wants to trade 10 $1 cards for it, I'm never doing 1:1. That's where I can understand 80% in my favor. But if it's reversed, 80% is never needed for business expense coverage.

Right now, Windows Update can treat an OEM-approved driver as the “best-ranked” match for your hardware, even if you manually installed a newer Intel, AMD, or Nvidia driver from the chipmaker’s website. That is why some of you see Windows replace a fresh 2026 graphics driver with an older version from 2024 or earlier. It is not simply checking the driver version or date. It is following its targeting and ranking system. The good news is that Microsoft is changing the policy. New display drivers can now use narrower targeting with 2-part HWIDs and CHIDs, so updates are scoped to the specific PCs they are meant for. It's all part of Microsoft's plans to make the Windows 11 experience less annoying.

I got an email from a company earlier today (rejection of course). And just as a joke (cuz I didn't figure anyone would monitor the email), I responded something like, "yeah you don't want an old guy with a quarter century of software engineering experience!"
Within like 5 minutes, I got an email back saying that they are not allowed to consider my age, my rejection was because the [system] (they didn't say whether it was ATS or AI) stated that I was basically an intern level candidate. (keep in mind, the last 13 years of my career has been me working for myself and running business)!

So the worst thing has happened. It looks like my twitch account was hacked. My twitch payout went to someone else via paypal. I have 2FA security on as well!
I got an email saying that an amount was being processed which is far less than what i was expecting. I checked my payout settings and it was flipped to an unknown paypal email.
I immediately contacted twitch support and basically all they told me that my payout was processed in the correct account. I told them that it wasnt, and sent screen shots and all they could tell me is i have to speak with paypal and they'll investigate it.
Im pretty distraught right now...as you all know, financially its been a rough year and this is the last thing i need to happen to me. For 4 years Ive been receiving payment through my account and this time it was flipped to Paypal

I was given the GTA VI pricing, bundles, and various structures of ordering the game by the same person who gave me the week of pre orders starting which was correct as highlighted by my leaked DM’s that prove I had the info well over a week ago.
I am choosing not to put the pricing info out as I was advised this could have market impacts by me doing so. But, I can say there will be 6 ways of purchasing the game at pre order. 3 digital/ physical which are the usual types of tiers, and then 1 that is more rare with some stuff, and then 2 tied with consoles (Pro and standard) with a digital code for download. I was told the bundles themselves will not have a physical copy in them.

The PS5 uses 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. Earlier leaks suggested the PS6 might feature up to 30 GB or more, but high DRAM prices fueled by AI demand have prompted a reconsideration.
Settling on 24 GB with a 128-bit bus is said to save about $60 per console while offering developers substantially more memory than the current generation.
