I joined Hon. Oboth Oboth Marksons Jacob at his residence in Kyungu, Mukono, together with friends, leaders, and well-wishers to celebrate his remarkable election victory in just the concluded elections and continued service to his people. The celebration was not only a moment of thanksgiving, but also a reflection of the confidence and trust Ugandans have in his leadership, humility, and commitment to national development. I congratulate him once again upon this milestone and wish him God’s guidance and wisdom as he continues serving our country and its people.@mkainerugaba @KagutaMuseveni

A powerful day of learning and action! CAPAIDS Uganda is proud to have today joined Jesuit Refugee Services Uganda in partnership with Lutheran World Federation for a vital workshop on the Eradication of Statelessness. We’ve been sharpening our advocacy tools and diving deep into the legal instruments that protect the vulnerable: ✅ 1954 Convention (Rights & Status) ✅ 1961 Convention (Prevention & Reduction) ✅ AU Protocol (Africa’s path to ending statelessness) Movement-building is at the heart of what we do. By strengthening our networks and knowledge, we’re one step closer to a world where everyone belongs. #CAPAIDSUganda #HumanRightsForAll #AdvocacyInAction

A while ago, CAP AIDS Uganda got an education emergence referral, from Joyeux Mugisho the Executive Director, People for Peace and Defence of Rights (PPDR) In Makindye Division. He informed us that there were 148 refugees who were stack at home because they lacked scholastic materials to join school and most of them lacked writing materials making them use one book for all subjects. So we as CAPAIDS Uganda met with PPDR and requested them to talk with the school’s administrations to allow these pupils study, as we plan to extend our support under JAP II. We proceded to donate these materials to 115 Pupils because along the way 33 Children got support from other partners. We shall give out, Books 96 pages 100 dozens 2. Black Books 3 Q 5 dozens. 3. Black Books 4 Q 10 dozens. 4. Large Books A4 96 pages- 15 dozens 5. Art Books 15 pieces 6. Dictionary 12 pieces 7. Hand writing books 50 8. Kofa Set 50 pieces 9. Ream of paper 60 pieces 10.
