This whole thing blew up in the face of Abdul Carter. The backlash was severe and overwhelming. He looks 100 X worse than Jaxson Dart. Former NFL players all over the Internet were criticizing Abdul, not Jaxson. And, within a couple hours he was forced into a humiliating backtrack. I was as big of a David Stearns supporter and fan as you could find. The lineup he has assembled is genuinely one of the worst I can remember in Mets history. The team had a MLB last 0.650 OPS entering today’s matchup. He deserves 1 more year…but serious questions emerging.

I’m sick and tired of hearing Carlos Mendoza. Yes majority of this mess is not his fault. He’s the manager. That’s how sports goes. He deserves some blame. Reality is they are not firing Stearns in season. Longer search to replace him & those firings just don’t happen in May. Maybe they consider doing it after the season. He deserves blame for sure. But other teams firing their manager & showing life while the Mets continue trotting out a manager with no pulse on the team is a slap in the face to the Mets fan base. Completely unacceptable.

I believe my four Children are saved. They believe that Jesus came and died for their sins, and was buried and God raised Him from the dead. They are saved. But... I really don't see much fruit in any of them... They are SO FOCUSED on the World... I see this in almost all Christians around me... NO desire to conform into His image... No desire to go to Church and fellowship with other believers glorifying God and His Son. Why is that terrifying to me?
