We will overhaul the tax system to make Australia more productive and more prosperous for normal everyday Australians:
- Removal of unnecessary taxes like the luxury car tax, FBT, fuel and alcohol levies.
- Capping personal income tax at a flat 25% with the tax free threshold raised to $30,000 to keep up with inflation.
- Capping corporation tax at 15%, which will attract global talent, companies and promote enterprise.
- GST will never rise, not like VAT in the United Kingdom and under Labor’s proposals.
- We will remove stamp duty and capital gains tax. Both are immoral and are often enforced on assets that were purchased via already taxed income. No more.
- We will focus on taxing remittances and collecting royalties, duties and taxes on our own natural resources properly, which should make us the Norway of Australasia.

Did Gavin’s voice get deeper? I’m not sure if it’s age, stress, smoking, or if he was just dehydrated but the more gravelly voice really suits him. Lends more gravitas to his words, makes him seem a little less oily. It’s a positive development, just noticable and surprising.

Keep in mind your equities only have value if the ruling party still respects property rights and rule of law Held Russian equities before the revolution? Total loss. Same story has played out many times. Bitcoin and gold are the only $1T+ value assets that can realistically protect considerable wealth in a chaotic / unpredictable future. They have property rights built right into them. Both are neutral store of value assets that aren't tied to any one country's fate... But only one of them makes it across a border undetected. You can fly across the world with $1 Billion of Bitcoin in your brain and no one could know. Given the way the world is evolving, the market is grossly undervaluing this unique aspect of Bitcoin IMO.
