After my first wife was killed in a tragic car accident while pregnant I was a train wreck. I went from preparing to be a father to alone and lost. I did research and found out happily married men who suddenly lose their wives overwhelmingly remarry between a year to 2 years. I thought that seemed crazy. (1/3)

Today I learned that Canada doesn’t have an interstate highway network.
If you want to drive west from Toronto to Vancouver you’re going to drive two lane roads with no dividers.
In fact, if you ask google maps to route you from Montreal on the east coast to Vancouver, it suggests driving through the United States.
Also, there (this may be changing now) are big barriers to trade between provinces so trade has usually been north to south (to the USA) instead of Intra-Canada.
Such a weird country.

Women are on average waiting until after school and job growth to have children. Leaving their best child baring years behind them. This has led to a drastic decline in birth rates.
Used to be the average mother gave birth early to mid 20s. Now they don’t have their first child till 31 on average. After 35 baring children becomes more dangerous and more difficult to bounce back from.
