I am currently treating a patient with multiple serious illnesses who has also undergone several surgeries. She was also found to have stage 4 cancer, and sought Ayurvedic treatment when oncologists gave her the worst prognosis. And to her own surprise and that of her family members, she got cured with it. She still takes modern medicine treatment for her other illnesses. I would say my patient has a much better attitude towards medicine than many modern medicine doctors. She only cared about being cured, the method to achieve it is secondary. We as modern day doctors need to be a bit more humble about our own limitations and not blindly throw away thousands of years of observational treatments only because it doesn’t fit in the modern “it isn’t proof until proven by RCT” paradigm.
