@linkkling The only exception to this is X and Y, which i think are genuinely easier than the prior 5 gens. Mainly due to easy level sharing, extra starter, and megas. I played older ones after the 3ds often, and they defintely have more difficult segments if you arent prepared (DPP/HGSS)

every pokemon game is fun, they never stopped being fun. the only reason it's "too easy" now is because you're an adult if you were an adult for gen 1 they still would've been easy. they were always easy. they're kids' games
