The token cost to build a production feature is now lower than the meeting cost to discuss building that feature. Let me rephrase. It is literally cheaper to build the thing and see if it works than to have a 30 minute planning meeting about whether you should build it. It’s wild when you think about it. This completely inverts how you should run a software organization. The planning layer becomes the bottleneck because the building layer is essentially free. The cost of code has dropped to essentially 0. The rational response is to eliminate planning for anything that can be tested empirically. Don’t debate whether a feature will work. Just build it in 2 hours, measure it with a group of customers, and then decide to kill or keep it. I saw a startup operating this way and their build velocity is up 20x. Decision quality is up because every decision is informed by a real prototype, not a slide deck and an expensive meeting. We went from “move fast and break things” to “move fast and build everything.” The planning industrial complex is dead. Thank god.

Was reminded today that you get what you give in this world. When I was younger the concept of "karma" was not one that I really understood/believed in. Kinda felt like the "tooth fairy" to me. But now when I think about the concept of karma, it just makes very logical sense to me. Bad things happen to good people all the time, but if you're a good person, more good will find it's way to you too. Because when you impact someone in a positive way, they will remember that. And while 9 out of 10 may not directly give that good back to you, there will be 1 out of 10 that does. And over time, that adds up to a lot of good making it's way back to you. Be a good person. It will find it's way back to you somewhere down the road.

I don’t consider myself to be a particularly patriotic American. Mostly because I never know what people mean when they claim to be “more patriotic.” But I love America. And I can feel it dying. I think most people are trying their best right now. To live as close to the virtues as we can as one Nation under God, with liberty and justice for all. One of those virtues is the hardest. But never more needed. When you’re attacked, it’s natural to seek vengeance. To inflict pain on those who hurt you and your family. To retaliate. To lash out. To hate. It’s far less easy to forgive. To face those feelings. To let go of the resentment that builds up, festering and metastasizing into an evil that can warp you into someone or something even you, yourself, wouldn’t recognize. In today’s America it’s terrifyingly easy to give into that. To hate “them.” To see the pain the other side has caused. To give into years of built-up resentment. To repay evil with evil. But to forgive is not to forget. To forgive is not even to belittle the pain they’ve inflicted on you, nor does it simply mean turning the other cheek. It’s to understand that we too are not perfect, nor without our own sins. But that forgiveness is a conscious decision and conscious choice to strive to be better. We all stare down that choice at some point in our lives. And with where this country is, it’s hard not to feel America staring down that choice now, too. We may not be perfect. But we don’t have to be. They say Forgiveness is the closest thing to Godliness. And particularly now I am praying for those who need God’s help in that the most. We all have a choice. America’s freedoms have been hard-fought and won by people much more patriotic than me. But is it much less patriotic —at a time where America has never felt more divided — to choose forgiveness? On the eve of 250 years since the greatest experiment in the history of governance began, could anything now be more patriotic? United we stand. Divided we fall.

NEW: Republicans just confused themselves and shot themselves in the foot in a failed vote to advance the GENIUS Stablecoin Act @RepMTG just confusingly blamed her NO vote on not blocking a government stablecoin — but that's included in the other bill they also just blocked

What if we create an APTOS card? It could bring APTOS much closer to real-world payments. I think pursuing a similar idea to Avalanche’s aligns well with APTOS’s current vision. What do you all think? @AveryChing #aptos

Product management is becoming the new bottleneck according to @AndrewYNg "I don't see product management work becoming faster at the same speed as engineering. I'm seeing this ratio shift. Just yesterday, one of my teams came to me, and for the first time, when we're planning headcount for a project, this team proposed to me not to have 1:4 PM/engineers, but to have 1:0.5 PM/engineers. I still don't know if this is a good idea, but for the first time in my life, managers are proposing having twice as many PMs as engineers. I think it's a sign of where the world is going."

Let me tell you why Tom Lee is the most bullish thing to happen to ETH this year. Tom Lee was the guy in 2017 on CNBC calling for $55k bitcoin when it was trading at $2k. Wall street people thought he was insane. I remember the segments. The anchors would smile and be like Ok Tom, let's talk about stocks now. This is back when Jamie Dimon said he'd fire any trader who touched bitcoin and Buffet called it rat poisoned squared. Tom didn't care. He'd keep talking these crazy bitcoin prices week after week. Whenever they'd let him he'd show charts - how bitcoin’s price grows like network effect squared with users x tx value - his quirky fixation. Most of wall street completely missed bitcoin. Now think about the audience today. Every mainstream investor just spent the last 8 years watching Tom do 5,000% on his insane bitcoin price calls. So this week something new happens. Tom Lee launches an ETH treasury with $250m in ETH buys. He goes on CNBC and says ETH is the next bitcoin. He says stablecoins are crypto's ChatGPT moment and stablecoins make ETH more valuable. You think wall street isn't listening this time? Get ready for FOMO season. ETH is going up.

So Robinhood made a fake crypto token of OpenAI equity which is also a fake token representing a share of future profits for a non profit organization that is trying to convert to a for profit organization
