@KeysBusy @HeadkickHasbi @H2Pickettsburgh my brother opened his statement with "literally who cares" and i'm the one that sounds like an 11 year old girl alright
English

@quantumking_ @HeadkickHasbi @H2Pickettsburgh Literally who cares…are you an 11 year old girl? Cause that’s what u sound like

this chart is exactly why the water usage argument against AI is so dumb
there are so many other far more defensible complaints we can have against genAI, why did the obnoxious normie libs latch onto this completely inept understanding of how water cooling works
veganboi@baselessassert
People who refuse to go vegan posting this will never not be funny

@QuicktipT26180 @the_lord_norman @punishedjob @bilbosfootcomb If John 20:22 is meant metaphorically what's your evidence that Genesis 2:7 is meant literally
English

Jesus doesn’t ask us to be “vaguely nice” to each other.
He *demands* that we are to be radically, self sacrificially devoted to each other at the peril of our own soul should we fail to do so.

@alicefaith218 @BeSaintly You'll notice he didn't say it was all, most, or even many protestants
Just that there are some out there (and, like, by full admission I think we all recognize they're the odd ones out)
English

@BeSaintly No they don’t. I have bad Catholics say when the next crusades happen they are coming for me. As if
English

I respect Protestants who call for my execution more than people who do this

So good, God's word put to music 🎶🎧 You'll be grooving like Perry and I! 🕺✨

@QuicktipT26180 @punishedjob @the_lord_norman @bilbosfootcomb So true, we should follow the scientific consensus on when they say life begins

English

@quantumking_ @punishedjob @the_lord_norman @bilbosfootcomb God "formed" Jeremiah the womb. God knew Jeremiah before the womb. That doesn't change when life starts.
English

@QuicktipT26180 @punishedjob @the_lord_norman @bilbosfootcomb Genesis 1-5 are widely understood to have been written in poetic structure
Besides even if we do take it as literal I think maybe possibly Adam had a unique way of having been formed than the rest of humanity did ever since
Also Jeremiah 1:5
English

@HeadkickHasbi @H2Pickettsburgh The first 3 are good or at worst net-neutral, the fourth one brought in a bunch of the worst fans we could possibly have "grown the game" with
English

@H2Pickettsburgh Hockey was on its way out as a major sport until 4 nations, the Olympics, Shoresey, and Heated rivalry lol the games back where it belongs because of new viewers
English

@nardorum @DigitalSnek @HunterEKozak @bardotravelling the point is it's not a hypothetical for this guy because the posed hypothetical is reality so he's commenting on his reality
English

@DigitalSnek @HunterEKozak @bardotravelling ah so you also don't know what hypothetical means, because, for example; the quesiton in the video is a hypothetical

There’s a new “breakfast test” and it’s that if you think “I didn’t have breakfast” is an invalid answer, you’re an idiot.
Jeff@jef_migdonal
John Kiriakou fails the breakfast test on Matan Even “How would you feel if you didn’t have breakfast this morning?” “Yeah I didn’t have breakfast. But I did feel like I was ripped off on the size of my coffee.”

@TheDustyChuck @piratecapt16 Only insofar as he exists beyond time and is always present I suppose
English

@quantumking_ @piratecapt16 Oh I know... he's brought forward in time by a priest's prayers.
🤭
English

@piratecapt16 @TheDustyChuck I dare you to find an official Catholic teaching that says Christ is re-sacrificed at every mass
English

@TheDustyChuck It is why Catholics have alters, so they can sacrifice Jesus again at every mass.
English

@EnigmaDuck @NoMavericks What's the purpose of that instead of a "pray for a private intention" tweet? It's not like God doesn't know the intentions this guy needs even if we don't
If the argument is accountability-based, there are infinitely better ways to go about it than this
English

@EnigmaDuck @NoMavericks Like as I read this I don't necessarily think it's cringe (it's a little weird but hey aren't we all a little weird)
My problem is more the fact that it's basically just a "hey guys I just jerked off" tweet
English

@crowe_justinp What's interesting is that there's absolutely no reason for him to turn it into a "actually the Catholics do this too!!!11!!!1!"
Every day that goes by he shows his hand as a guy who has a vendetta against the Catholic Church for whatever reason
English

Code of Canon Law 848:
Events cost, Sacraments don’t.
Ryan knows this but is actively pushing this deception anyway.

needGod.net@needGod_net
It’s not only Orthodox parishes that charge for Baptisms, it’s also many Catholic parishes too: “The cost for the baptism is $300 per child, or per family, which is required to secure your booking.” One was even $500.
English

@EdmundOnTop @ETBangers @_LarryJ_ Who gives a fuck. Stick it to him by making sure the kid definitely won't get any money 🤣I'm sure this has more to do with making sure the state can get cheap slave labor and not anything related to the kid.
English

They need to take that last $160 too

@Aalalalal111 @bollocksbegone @MidnightMess777 Fair enough I suppose
I just figure if one observes that the teachings of Christianity are consistently leading towards admirable character traits it seems like there would be something worth investigating about the basis of those teachings
English

@quantumking_ @bollocksbegone @MidnightMess777 Christianity correlates with traits I want in a representative (impulse control, long time horizons, sense of duty to something beyond self-interest) without those traits requiring the metaphysics to be true. Selecting on the proxy is rational even if the underlying claims aren't
English

@Aalalalal111 @bollocksbegone @MidnightMess777 Genuinely curious, what leads you to those conclusions? I can see an argument for, like, "well the constitution says they can't so they shouldn't" but on a fundamental level why do you think Christians make better reps but that Christian morals shouldn't ground our government?
English

@quantumking_ @bollocksbegone @MidnightMess777 I, as an atheist, would often probably prefer a Christian to be in government compared to some socialist or libtard but ultimately I think the government itself should not endorse any religious belief.
English

@PopePiusIXStan Where does the Vatican 2 is heresy trad fall? Just radtrad?
English

Recently I’ve put trads into 3 categories: gladtrad, grumpytrad, and radtrad. Gladtrads are the people who like the Tridentine Mass better than the Novus Ordo, but they are happy either way. Grumpytrads are the trads who view the NO as valid and licit, but mostly would prefer to never attend it. RadTrads are the sedevacantists and their sympathizers.
I’m a grumpytrad.
