KBR is a very important lung space in the center of Hyderabad and the government is hellbent on destroying it for contracts!!!
Recently, huge stretch of greenery in Khajaguda area was destroyed apparently for a minister’s son’s project.
Overnight, during the mad bulldozing of Kancha Gachibowli anywhere between 10,000 to 17,000 trees were felled. Each tree, again, at least a few decades old. While the government promised the honourable Supreme Court to restore the forest, not sure if anything was done.
City is an absolute burning HOT HELL right now and the entire government is behaving like a brainless bunch of clowns with an aversion to anything green.
I wonder if they even planted one single sapling in their entire term, so far!
To give a perspective, imagine axing down 1942 trees in Cubbon Park! Entire Bangalore would be up in arms. Since we people of Hyderabad are misinformed fools, we don’t care.
And the mainstream media is busy in doing bhajan of the government.

Hyderabad is already burning. The city suffocates and we have ample examples of how translocation for trees is a failure majorly. And yet, the Congress govt in Hyderabad, has removed more than 1500 trees for flyovers and underpasses. What can we say!
