India’s Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh narrates the story on Pakistan’s defeat in #OperationSindoor, "...We have at least five fighters confirmed kills and one large aircraft, which could be either an ELINT aircraft or an AEW &C aircraft, which was taken on at a distance of about 300 kilometres. This is actually the largest ever recorded surface-to-air kill that we can talk about." "Shahbaz Jacobabad airfield, one of the major airfields that was attacked. Here there's an F-16 hangar. One half of the hangar is gone. And I'm sure there were some aircraft inside which have got damaged there. We were able to get at least two command and control centres, like Murid and Chaklala. At least six radars, some of them big, some of them small...We have an indication of at least one AEW&C in that AEW&C hangar and a few F-16s, which were under maintenance there...We have at least five fighters confirmed kills and one large aircraft, which could be either an ELINT aircraft or an AEW &C aircraft, which was taken on at a distance of about 300 kilometres. कक्षा 8 की NCERT की सामाजिक विज्ञान विषय पाठ्यपुस्तक (Unit 3, पृष्ठ संख्या 71) में दर्शाए गए मानचित्र में जैसलमेर को तत्कालीन मराठा साम्राज्य का भाग दर्शाया गया है, जो कि ऐतिहासिक रूप से भ्रामक, तथ्यहीन और गम्भीर रूप से आपत्तिजनक है। इस प्रकार की अपुष्ट और ऐतिहासिक साक्ष्यविहीन जानकारी न केवल NCERT जैसी संस्थाओं की विश्वसनीयता पर प्रश्नचिह्न लगाती है, बल्कि हमारे गौरवशाली इतिहास और जनभावनाओं को भी आघात पहुंचाती है। यह विषय केवल एक पाठ्यपुस्तक की त्रुटि नहीं, बल्कि हमारे पूर्वजों के बलिदान, संप्रभुता और शौर्य गाथा को धूमिल करने का प्रयास प्रतीत होता है। जैसलमेर रियासत के संदर्भ में उपलब्ध प्रामाणिक ऐतिहासिक स्रोतों में कहीं भी मराठा आधिपत्य, आक्रमण, कराधान या प्रभुत्व का कोई उल्लेख नहीं मिलता। इसके विपरीत, हमारी राजकीय पुस्तकों में भी स्पष्ट उल्लेखित है कि जैसलमेर रियासत में मराठाओं का कभी भी, कोई दखल नहीं रहा। माननीय शिक्षा मंत्री श्री @dpradhanbjp जी, संपूर्ण जैसलमेर परिवार की ओर से मैं आपका ध्यान इस ज्वलंत विषय की ओर आकृष्ट करना चाहता हूँ कि NCERT द्वारा की गई इस प्रकार की त्रुटिपूर्ण, दुर्भावनापूर्ण और एजेंडा-प्रेरित प्रस्तुति को गंभीरता से लेते हुए तत्काल संशोधन करवाया जाए। यह केवल एक तथ्य संशोधन नहीं, बल्कि हमारी ऐतिहासिक गरिमा, आत्मसम्मान और राष्ट्रीय पाठ्यक्रम की सत्यनिष्ठा से जुड़ा विषय है। इस विषय पर त्वरित एवं ठोस कार्रवाई की अपेक्षा है। @ncert
