I know all of this trade is really hard to process. It’s like an anvil of doubt and fear hanging over your head. The doom is real but may not be the pain trade. I highly suggest you seek the recent work of @WarrenPies and @PBCapit for an optimistic maybe a realistic take on the markets to help balance out the doomscrolling

Yesterday was my big day with Deepseek V4 Flash where I spent $2.82. Today I needed to reach for Kimi for some frontend work, and it easily exceeded Deepseek v4 flash by a lot. I already dropped my Codex sub to the $20, and at this point for my day to day stuff Deepseek looks like its going to be my main.

@trashpandaemoji maybe I’ll use $20 codex to talk through and build spec.md then break it down into issues and then use symphony like orchestration to run through all of them in worktrees overnight with Deepseek 🤔

My workflow is typically to have a conversation, work out the scope of work, then i leave it to implement and validate. Then I usually do some half-hearted Q&A as a sanity check. That works just fine with deepseek. I haven't tried doing any super long overnight runs yet. The longest thing I ran was improving the test coverage and it seems to chug along with that just fine.
