Mayor Karen Bass is going down... hard. There's no way to put this genie back in the proverbial bottle. And it's not even like this revelation is that surprising. It just serves as additional concrete confirmation as to how the deep state's system of mass corruption works on all levels (federal/state/city/county). Bank records, money transfers, etc., will serve as absolute proof beyond doubt. That, and many will turn state's evidence, seeking plea deals. Again, there is no honor amongst thieves. Not to mention that we're talking about facing the certainty of severe ramifications for their crimes. And that's especially true for middle-aged politicians who have never been to (and fear) prison, not to mention understanding full well that 20 years is a life sentence, there's no doubt in my mind that many/most will sing like canaries. That's why once they start unwinding this (or any other) diseased ball of yarn, the scope of the takedown will undoubtedly (and rapidly) expand outward.

CAUGHT ON HIDDEN CAMERA: LA Housing Department Financial Officer Admits Witnessing Multiple Instances of Fraud Up To “$10–$20 Million” & “Going To People’s Pockets,” Homeless Developers Committing Forms Of Embezzlement, With Superiors Looking The Other Way To Help Mayor Karen Bass Maintain “Re-Election Funds.” “I have a couple of developers doing really sketchy stuff. My project was with a developer called CRCD — Marcella Gardens. We [LA City] can’t figure out where all the money is going… it’s going to people’s pockets.” “If they [LA Housing Department] were to call out the people [Developers] contacting Karen Bass’s office, she might not get enough money for re-election — or for what she needs done.” “For whatever reason, LAHSA gets allocated a ton of money, but they [LAHSA] don’t really have a whole lot to show for it.” Donald Byers, a Finance Development Officer from the Los Angeles housing programs, admits on hidden camera that millions of taxpayer money disappear inside the city’s low-income housing system. Byers told our undercover journalist he flagged the fraud internally but was ignored. “I’ve reported it… nothing happens.” Accountability is avoided. Despite years-long delays on projects, funding continues to flow even when, by his own admission, officials are failing. Meanwhile, as billions are poured into homelessness programs, the money is “going to people’s pockets.” Despite years-long project delays, funding continues to flow even as, by his own admission, oversight appears to be failing. After raising red flags, Byers says nothing changed and now he claims, “At this point, I’m just covering myself.” Our team reached out to Byers for comment and he threatened to contact lawyers in order to stop our publication. We also reached out to @LAHD___ , @CRCD_SouthLA , & @MayorOfLA for comment. Mayor Karen Bass replied with, “this is total BS.” Thank you, @Savsays for hosting this report. @ctznjusticelg @KarenBassLA @MayorOfLA @GavinNewsom @CAgovernor @GavinNewsom @LAHD___ @CRCD_SouthLA

⚡️This makes the picture bigger than Iran. Hormuz on one end. Malacca on the other. Those are the two chokepoints that China’s entire energy supply depends on. The US now has operational control or leverage over both. The blockade controls Hormuz. The Indonesia defense partnership positions American military cooperation at Malacca. 80% of China’s oil imports pass through that 1.7 mile wide strait. The sequencing again. Venezuela seized, securing Western Hemisphere heavy crude. Iran’s military destroyed, Hormuz taken through blockade. Saudi pipeline bypass activated, redirecting Gulf crude to the Atlantic. 40-nation coalition forming to permanently internationalize Hormuz security. And now Indonesia elevated to Major Defense Cooperation Partnership, positioning the US at the other end of China’s energy lifeline. Every single move reduces China’s energy independence. Beijing currently has no way to import oil at scale that doesn’t pass through a chokepoint the United States either controls directly or has a military partnership adjacent to. The overland alternatives through Russia and Central Asia exist but carry a fraction of the volume and take years to expand. This is the real game. Iran was the catalyst but China is the target. The entire energy restructuring that’s happened in the last six weeks gives the United States leverage over Beijing that no tariff, no trade deal, no diplomatic negotiation could achieve on its own. When Trump meets Xi next month, he walks into that room knowing that China’s economy runs on oil that America can turn off. The Indonesia timing is not coincidental. You don’t elevate a defense partnership with the country that controls Malacca in the same month you blockade Hormuz unless you understand the combined effect on Beijing’s strategic position. This is also the answer to the question about whether Trump plans five moves ahead or just operates on instinct. The Malacca piece makes it harder to argue coincidence. Hormuz plus Malacca plus Venezuela plus the Saudi bypass plus the Canada leverage erosion. Five moves all pointing at the same structural outcome: American control of global energy transit. At some point the pattern is the evidence.
Rick de la Torre@vrk_rick

80% of China's oil imports pass through the Strait of Malacca, controlled by Indonesia. @SecWar just elevated Indonesia to a Major Defense Cooperation Partnership. That puts the United States military in position near both of the world's most critical energy chokepoints. Beijing's energy security now runs through American partnerships.

Eric Swalwell is going to jail. He's going to end up with the Bill Cosby treatment. The separate women telling very similar stories without collaborating with one another are the kind of corroboration that gets past a "he said/she said" battle over consent. The strong suggestion by their stories is that Swalwell used GHB or something similar mixed into drinks. It's really only a question of what state -- sort of like Harvey Weinstein.

Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith... were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.” -Winston Churchill, 1899

Oh, look at this walking, talking betrayal in a white cassock: Pope Leo XIV, a.k.a. Robert Francis Prevost — the globalist’s hand-picked Midwest accountant cosplaying as the Vicar of Christ. Congrats, Bobby. You crawled out of Chicago, spent your life as an Augustinian missionary in Peru pretending to care about the poor, and somehow landed the big chair by promising the Davos crowd you’d keep the rainbow-flag interfaith grift alive. First American pope? More like the first pope who treats the Vatican like a UN diversity seminar with better real estate. You didn’t get elected by the Holy Spirit; you got installed by the same people who think “tolerance” means letting everyone pray except the people who built the damn place. And then you actually did it. You carved out a Muslim prayer room inside the Vatican Apostolic Library. A carpet, some qibla stickers, and boom — the home of every single manuscript that preserved Western civilization now has a designated corner for the ummah to bow toward Mecca. On papal turf. While Christians are getting slaughtered in half the countries these scholars come from. That’s not “dialogue,” you spineless wonder. That’s surrender with extra incense. That’s turning the throne of St. Peter into a participation trophy for every ideology that wants Christianity dead. Your church spent half a million on a solid-gold Fisherman’s Ring so people can kiss your glorified class ring, but you’re perfectly fine letting strangers roll out prayer rugs five feet from the archives that survived Attila the Hun. Priceless, indeed. The Church spent centuries fighting off Islamic conquest at Lepanto and Vienna, and you just handed them a quiet room and a polite “no shoes, please.” Bold move for a guy whose entire brand is “humble servant.” Humble enough to let Islam set up shop, apparently. Not humble enough to ditch the $3,000 silk stole and the red mozzetta cape, though — gotta look fabulous while you sell out. You’re not a pope. You’re a corporate consultant in religious drag. A globalist hall monitor who thinks the greatest threat to humanity isn’t the erosion of the faith that built the West — it’s mean tweets and Latin Mass attendees. Keep clutching your pearls and your interfaith talking points while the actual faithful watch their ancestral Church get turned into a theme park for every religion except the one that actually owns it. Robert Prevost, you didn’t just fail upward. You turned the Chair of Peter into a participation award for the people who want it empty. And history’s going to remember you exactly as you are: the fake pope who gave Islam a prayer rug and Christianity the middle finger. 🖕

Another billion dollar business is leaving California “Home building giant KB Home is the latest billion-dollar corporation to exit California. KB Home announcing plans to move its global headquarters from Los Angeles to Tempe, Arizona” “The move is aimed at lowering operational costs with their CEO, highlighting the Phoenix Metro's business-friendly climate and lower cost of living. As pivotal factors, they join other corporations like public Storage, Realtor. com, and Yamaha, who are all left seeking relief from California's high taxes and regulatory hurdles” According to a decade long study from UC, Berkeley, people who moved out of California saved an average of $671 every single month on housing, and were nearly 50% more likely to own a home within a few years Roughly 20 billion dollar companies have fled California under Gavin Newsom 800+ companies have moved their headquarters out of California as well

This is where @SecWar requires that this commander and her entire chain of command appear before him at 0800 this Friday to explain, in detail, why they have failed to follow his intent in this matter and how they intend to remedy their failure. The commander should be advised that her deputy must accompany her and ready to assume command. If you don’t stamp out this kind of disrespectful refusal to comply with your orders, you have set a standard in which you are no longer a leader. You are a subordinate. I don’t see @PeteHegseth playing that game. cc @SeanParnellASW

🚨Heavy Handed removal of retiree benefits: A retired LCDR was just banned from all Navy bases and facilities in the Hampton Roads area for accidentally having a personal weapon in his vehicle at the base gate checkpoint. The retired naval officer has a Concealed Carry Permit. He also followed all directions provided to him by base security while voluntarily discussing his CC permit and noting that he had mistakenly had the weapon in his vehicle. Security suggested he turn around and come back without the weapon. He did so gladly and immediately returned back through the same gate (without the weapon of course) while the same security guards offered apologies for the inconvenience. The subsequent ban was an unexpected shock and a grave heavy-handed response to an honest mistake. The JAGs and Commander at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek have unilaterally removed all retiree benefits (except retiree pay) from an honorable man. He can no longer attend base functions, work a job on the base, use MWR facilities, or the commissary (military grocery store). Based on Secretary @PeteHegseth’s desire to ensure Second Amendment rights are defended by our Institutions, and that those exercising these rights are not unlawfully weaponized against, I pray this ban is quickly reversed.

NEW: CA gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer (D) releases an immigration platform that is radically left of Gov. Newsom. It includes: - Abolish ICE - Put ICE agents in jail & “treat them like the mob”. - Bring those “kidnapped & detained by ICE back home.” - Give CA AG power to imprison ICE agents & their leadership. - Taxpayer funded legal representation & support for illegal aliens. - Ignore a SCOTUS ruling that allows ICE to utilize to use race, language, job, and location to contribute to “reasonable suspicion” for immigration arrests, and instead, “California should take matters into our own hands and extend legal protections to its residents, despite the federal governments failure.” “This is about our right as a state to protect our residents,” Steyer says.

The Sad Tale Of The USS Boise – People Need To Lose Their Jobs —Sam Faddis is a former clandestine CIA operations officer in Iran and the Middle East The USS Boise is an American nuclear attack submarine. It was commissioned in 1992. It was docked ten years ago pending a regular overhaul. It has been out of service ever since. In 2024, the Navy awarded a $1.2 billion dollar contract for work on the Boise. Eight hundred million of that has already been spent on the boat. It is still not back in service. The overhaul is only 22% complete. The Navy believes it will cost $3 billion to finish the work. And now the Navy has announced it is effectively giving up on the Boise. It will be inactivated. Every dollar spent on refurbishing it has been wasted. “This strategic move allows us to reallocate America’s highly-skilled workforce to our highest priorities: delivering new Virginia and Columbia-class submarines and improving the readiness of the current fleet,” Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle said in the statement, which characterized inactivation plans as a “tough but necessary decision.” “We owe it to our Sailors and the nation to make these tough calls to build a more capable and ready Navy,” Caudle said. In 2015, the Boise went to Naval Station Norfolk for repairs, but there was no space available and insufficient workers to address the issues. In 2016, the sub was classified as “restricted” and unable to perform full operations. In 2017, its dive certification was taken away. Yes, as of 2017, the Boise, an attack submarine, was deemed to no longer be safe to submerge. What happened to the Boise is symptomatic of a much bigger problem. The Navy’s maintenance backlog for submarines is terrifying. The backlog for attack boats at the four public shipyards is due to maintenance availabilities getting longer and not enough workers at the public yards, the Congressional Budget Office found in 2021. “After overhauls, Virginia-class submarines have returned to operations almost nine months later than expected, on average. Los Angeles-class submarines have taken four and a half months longer than scheduled, on average, to return to the fleet,” reads the report. “As a result, some submarines have missed deployments or had their deployments at sea shortened. The delays have reduced the number of submarines that the Navy can put to sea, idling expensive ships and their skilled crews.” While the Navy has made efforts to improve workforce and schedules in the public yards, the fundamental problems at the shipyards have continued to linger, naval analyst Bryan Clark with the Hudson Institute told USNI News recently. None of this is new. In 2018, the Government Accounting Office (GAO) issued a scathing report on the situation with Navy maintenance backlogs. “The Navy has been unable to begin or complete the vast majority of its attack submarine maintenance periods on time resulting in significant maintenance delays and operating and support cost expenditures. GAO’s analysis of Navy maintenance data shows that between fiscal year 2008 and 2018, attack submarines have incurred 10,363 days of idle time and maintenance delays as a result of delays in getting into and out of the shipyards.” GAO found that in 2018, $1.5 billion was spent on attack submarines sitting idle while waiting to enter the shipyards, and on those delayed in completing their maintenance at the shipyards. Thirty to forty percent of all Navy attack subs were sitting in port, unavailable for deployment. All of this was the result of known problems. The four public naval shipyards lacked sufficient dry docks, infrastructure, and workers to keep up with requirements. Facilities were outdated. Some equipment in use was decades past the expiration of its service life. Private yards were able to handle some work but were unwilling to invest in facilities without commitments from the Navy for stable work. There weren’t enough skilled workers. The “solution” was to push the existing workforce harder, require more overtime, and bring in employees who were less experienced and prone to perform substandard work. Quality declined. Work was completed more slowly. New submarines were not built. Existing older boats were kept in service. As they aged, the maintenance problems became more intractable. In many cases, spare parts could no longer be procured anywhere. Often, replacement parts had to be reengineered and manufactured specially, because no one made them anymore. Everyone understood the issues. Nobody did anything to fix it. The Boise will be mothballed and ultimately scrapped. The problems that caused this disaster remain largely unaddressed. We are all at risk, and the people responsible need to be fired. Follow Sam Faddis @RealSamFaddis and read his Substack: andmagazine.substack.com/p/the-sad-tale…
