@elonmusk @ImKingGinger It’s funny how people think you don’t understand how things work because you’re 10 steps ahead.

Your statement is true if goods & services output doesn’t rise dramatically due to AI/robots, but false if it does. In a normal economy, issuing more money simply increases the dollar price of the existing output of goods & services, meaning people do NOT get more stuff. If AI/robots massively increase goods & services output, then you actually MUST issue dollars to people or there will be massive disinflation. Prices are simply the ratio of goods & services output to number of dollars.

I'm in a bad mood right now because I didn't get to exercise this morning. I had a bunch of stuff done to my face yesterday and had to take the day off. I become an entirely different person without exercise. I don't like this guy much.

ok actually insane paper published yesterday a research group in Korea built a gene switch you can control wirelessly using electromagnetic fields they exposed mice to 60 hz EMF (same frequency as your wall outlet) using a pair of large coils that generate a uniform magnetic field around the animal, for cyclic 3-day on / 4-day off pulses they showed this could: - activate OSK to do epigenetic reprogramming in progeroid and aged mice, extending lifespan and reversing aging markers across multiple tissues - conditionally switch on mutant amyloid genes only in aged mouse brains, letting them separate aging effects from amyloid effects to study AD biology in a way previous models couldn't no drugs, no impacts, just a magnetic field from outside the body

@SSB_Rick Congrats man! Keep it up. More substances are not the way. Exercise, sauna, cold plunge, and lean into discomfort. Sometimes life is hard and hard doesn’t always feel great - but we keep going day after day.

@flabbytofit99 I’ve never been one to be compelled by the substance - and I still chose to quit altogether. The question I asked was: does this serve me? The answer is always no.

I’m always impressed by people who can have 1-2 drinks and call it quits I usually powered right past 2 and went to 6 or more Which I why after getting thrown in jail assaulting a police officer over 11 years ago and barely escaping the justice system without a long sentence, I decided to just quit altogether Many related benefits including less marriage issues, better sleep, more energy during the day, no hangovers, and it's much easier to stay lean If you struggle with alcohol or another addiction, quit while you're ahead before it causes a major life problem Or if you're one of the special folks and can stop at 2, cheers to you

You can now get your blood work at cost. We launched a biomarkers testing platform. I make $0 on it. Blood testing needs to be more accessible. Instead, we wait until we get sick. And in the meantime, companies profit when you’re sick. It's messed up. > get tested > find what needs attention > implement protocols > test again Get ahead of unwelcome surprises.

@gabriel__xyz No one has it figured out and we are all just trying our best at all times. What worked for me was being present for my wife and baby during the day and then working at night. The hardest part was not being hard on myself for feeling like I wasn’t working enough. You got this.

Government Costcos? The NDP leader Avi Lewis thinks he can decrease grocery prices by 30%-40% government run Costco style and smaller local stores with a cost of $350M/year 🤦🏼 Don't you love utopian communist ambitions by people who built nothing in the private sector?

@n13 @tyromper Women respond to a man that places his “purpose” before anything else, including her. She needs to feel that he’s tuned into something greater than himself.

It's difficult to learn when you're used to speaking your mind and used to wanting what you want Then you meet her, and she nonstop says she wants this and this and this, and it's all total BS, she has no idea what she wants Good thing is though - what she wants is not complicated. A man who is a man is good enough for all women who are worth dating (excluding the psychos and nutcases which always exist in any population, men and women) Take care of yourself Take care of your family Take care of your village Take care of your country Take care of your planet In this order Follow your mission, or, if not yet known, find it - every man came with a mission, a life path, something we have to do

At 23 I had all the money as a successful poker player. I met & started dating the first girl I ever liked & enjoyed her company. I gave her EVERYTHING. •Every designer purse she wanted. •A closet full of Louis Vuitton shoes. •Paid off her college loans with 1 check. We married & I bought us a 5,800 custom designed mansion. She, OF COURSE, cheated on me a year later. The first year or two after I was perplexed..... I gave her everything. I never said NO. Why would she do that? Once I figured this out, I figured out women & life.

@SteveOnSpeed I don’t negotiate with terrorists… jk my daughter is 1. I do hear many parents asking their kids what they want to do or if they want to do something. It seems insane to give kids that much power in the house.

When I was a child, there were no negotiations between my parents and me. They gave a command, and I did it or there were consequences. Why are so many parents negotiating with their children these days?

Biggest marketing scam ever invented? “Lasts 13 years!” A few years later, it dies. “Where’d we get those bulbs from again? Whatever. Let’s just buy more.” A while back, I went through and replaced every incandescent in our house with LEDs. 7 years later, here we are.

@JSwamptooth @mamlam @mhp_guy It’s not a temperature thing. LED’s oscillate on/off and it’s noticeable. It creates a very odd and artificial feeling light.

Kinda surprised I didn't see more people talking about War Machine on here. I thought it would be slop, but really is just a competently made action movie. Gory, good action... very much like a 2026 Predator. The walker's design is also really cool.
