@PressSec @USAinUAE Stuck in Dubai. We enrolled in the STEP and called the number many times. The advice is to shelter in place and the phone recording actually says “no help is on the way.” Not sure how that aligns with your message.

I worked at State Dept before and the safety of Americans overseas is the highest responsibility. Warnings to citizens to evacuate 3 days into this war, when airspace is closed, is a clear sign of ZERO strategy and planning by the Trump admin. Now Americans have limited options to evacuate at an extremely dangerous moment with no government assistance. This administration is failing its citizens.

Media not covering but steady strikes that were thankfully successfully intercepted between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. Assuming US (or some other nation(s)) is/are now counter attacking as has been quiet for about hour.

Dubai sold the world a skyline. Today tourists in Dubai are filming missile interceptions from the beach instead of sunsets. Every video shared is a tourism brochure burning in real time. You cannot sell safety at 2,000 dollars a night when your guests are watching air defense systems work from their 5 star hotel
