Trump’s ability to move the markets was fading, so they needed a new face to keep the illusion alive. Do people really believe all of this is happening over the difference between a five year enrichment delay and a ten or twenty year one? Do they really think the U.S. would risk economic Armageddon over an unenforceable technicality like that? Trump could have walked away and declared victory ten times already, but he hasn’t, because they still are not done with whatever it is they want to do. They are just preparing for the next attack.
