This member of the pronoun police thinks I’m “a clown” for calling transgender women “she”. A lot of people such as this man cannot see past their fixation on this one point, and consequently miss all the other reporting I’ve published on this issue. This pronoun campaign is an example of the woke right, in which the right wing is as obsessed with and as totalitarian about policing language, especially regarding identity, as the woke left. I have made abundantly clear that I do not agree that using someone’s preferred pronouns necessarily amounts to a grand philosophical statement regarding where someone falls on the gender essentialism debate. At a baseline, it is simply polite. And all journalists working in any kind of non-ideological news use preferred pronouns. I am not suggesting this is why I do so, but if I did not use preferred pronouns, my career in left-wing media would basically end. Most importantly, preferred pronouns are about showing everyone a baseline and consistent level of respect. Not using someone’s preferred pronouns is disrespectful and rude. And I do not tolerate that. Any requests for me to change my pronoun policy will be rejected out of hand. People who make a fuss about my policy will be blocked. Have a nice day.

Many women don't mind having a male doctor. But when we ask for a female doctor on certain occasions we don't expect a male doctor to turn up and lie to us that he is female. That Dr Upton (DU) does realise this is very, very troubling.

Been thinking about Dr Upton He is about 30 and decided he wanted to be a woman 3 yrs ago A 5' 4"nurse who has been female since conception, 24/7 for over 50yrs and a nurse for 30 of those years, felt uncomfortable changing with this 6' 2" male born person in the room First, she quietly waited outside the changing room whilst he was in there, no fuss, no scene, no reporting to management or taking time off work - just quietly waited outside the changing room This male born person who 'wishes' to be female took umbrage at this and started taking notes on her behaviour When she didn't undress in front if him, when she didn't make the right amount of eye contact, when she didn't behave as though she fully believed he was 100% female to his satisfaction One day this nurse, obvious to his ongoing surveillance of her, bleed through her clothes and had to use the changing room right there and then to clean herself up ready to continue working and he was in there She felt uncomfortable, intimidated and humiliated to be in this situation, so she politely tried to explain how she felt Any woman who was asked by a colleague to give them some time alone in a changing room could probably think of quite a few reasons why that may be, would likely just ask if the other woman was OK and then leave them to it No, not this Dr who who wanted to be female 3 yrs ago, he just stated that its 'his right' to be there, could see she was uncomfortable and distressed but just stood firm and later took more notes to report the nurse for 'bullying and harrasment' This was later changed to include concerns around 'patient safety' he didn't just want her disciplined, he wanted her to lose her job, her 30yr career, for the not wanting to get undressed in front of him In everything he has done he has proven just how much of male he is Women have single sex spaces for privacy, dignity and safety This male born person 'needs' to be in female spaces because he wishes to be female even though he wasn't born female and he 'needs' women to be NPCs playing along to make the fantasy a 'reality' From '1984' ⬇️
