राय मनवी, जब रेप victim अकेले सड़क पर प्रदर्शन कर रही थी तब आप TRP के लिए वहाँ पहुच गई थीं। पुलिस ने आपको रोका नहीं, गिरफ्तार नहीं किया।
लेकिन जानवरों के अधिकार के लिए जब प्रदर्शन करने की बात थी तो अचानक पुलिस ने मना कर दिया और गिरफ्तारी का डर दिखाया ?

पूरे मामले में आप स्टार बनकर सेल्फी ले रही थीं, 32 दांत दिखा रही थीं।
असली बात ये है कि आप जैसे ज्यादातर NGO वाले जानवरों के नाम पर सिर्फ पैसा खाने में लगे हैं। शेल्टर का टेंडर लेना असली मकसद है।
आपके अंधभक्त भी दोषी हैं।
BJP इस मुद्दे पर पूरी तरह एंटी-एनिमल और एंटी-सनातनी साबित हो रही है।

Those who foist the petard of stray dogs on X/Social Media/ Twitter would be shocked to find how unpopular their view is on the streets. The worst victims are poor people who don't have the luxury of trapaising the roads in cars. Asinine canine complex is an epidemic on social media. Even if vaccination facilities are perfect, why should anyone have to get bitten by a stray dog in the first place?
Why should a person be forced to go through pain, fear, and the risk of a deadly disease just because some people like to feed dry bread to street dogs to feel less lonely?
And even if someone survives, why should they live with permanent scars, physical or mental, for the rest of their life?

A paid narrative to promote hatred against dogs? That’s what it’s starting to feel like. Not one serious question on why, despite being an almost developed nation, we still struggle with rabies. Not one deep dive into why the government failed to implement nationwide sterilisation and vaccination of street dogs—even though it’s mandated under the 2001 law. These are the real issues. This is where accountability is needed. But that would require real journalism. And maybe that’s the problem—because asking tough questions isn’t as “profitable” as pushing fear-driven narratives. 😷 Time to ask: will media houses like NDTV ever choose courage over convenience? Or are we just going to keep vilifying the voiceless while ignoring systemic failures? 🐾

Soon someone will die due to rabies because they saw a dog on the street! Come on! Animal caregivers and feeders get scratched on a daily basis. I’m sure there has to be a different source of contraction, and I can suggest one: street food made in unhygienic conditions. Many times I have seen rats around there, and rats are carriers of rabies. So you might want to get out of this infatuation with dogs and look for the real cause, because what you are reporting is simply absurd to believe. By that logic, all the dog lovers/caregivers/feeders must be dead in 6 months, right?

Massive cruelty unfolding right now at Dayal Singh College. 💔
MCD vans are picking up community dogs who are not even aggressive… dogs who have been peacefully living among students, part of the campus life.
They are not a threat.
They are lives.
This is not how human-animal conflict is resolved.
The real solution has always been sterilization, vaccination, and coexistence… not removal and displacement.
Watching them being taken away like this is truly heartbreaking.
We urge the authorities to act with compassion and responsibility. There has to be a humane way.
Be kind. Be aware. These voiceless souls deserve protection, not fear.

Today at Dayal Singh College a @MCD_Delhi team tried to relocate the dogs and used wires which gravely injured all the dogs who are docile and are living in harmony with the students and faculty. Listen to this @MCD_Delhi employee who is saying "Shelters nahi hai hum inhe uthake bahar chor denge"
@gupta_rekha this is cruelty and when there are no shelters this is a relocation which is a crime and on top of it they used wires to catch dogs which injured them.
@gupta_rekha @PMOIndia you have to take action against @MCD_Delhi for repeated animal cruelty done by them. First they got overweight with the sterilization and vaccination money and now they are on a mission to kill dogs.

Today in the Assembly, I raised the following issues and sought assurances from the Forest Minister @NaikSpeaks ji:
1) He assured me of inquiry and strictest action on those involved in the forest fires in Aarey Forest.
2) He has promised the inauguration of Gorai Mangrove Park (that I initiated as guardian minister of Mumbai suburbs then) after this assembly session. It has been ready for the past 6 months, yet not opened for the citizens.
3) I raised the issue of a monkey (bonnet macaques) that was target by a bow in Yeoor region of Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
I have asked on the strictest action on poachers and those who indulge in such acts.
The SGNP master plan also has been recently approved by the BMC but public or elected representatives consultation hasn’t formally been accounted for. One doubts if this is to regularise the illegal bungalows of ministers, in the forest.
4) Environmentalist @banduplan Bandu Dhotre- was assured by the @MahaForest dept that the Mines in Ghodazari Wildlife Sanctuary and Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve will be cancelled.
I have also constantly raised this issue in the Assembly.
Today, I asked the Minister to be firm on cancellation and to ensure that no forest reserve in Maharashtra faces that threat.
He informed me that the issue is in court, but he personally is of the opinion that the Mine should be cancelled and will follow up on the same.
