@WestJet does it again! Boarding started on WS514 at 5am YQQ, then boarding was halted. Gate agent came on intercom and informed us that flight was canceled due to a bird strike on the inbound flight THE NIGHT BEFORE and the crew had just found out. Why not cancel night before?!

I’m not a birder by any stretch of the imagination but as I was sitting watching trash on Netflix, a male and female cardinal came to hang out in my backyard. Photos aren’t great as I was trying to get some shots on my phone before one of the dogs started barking at them.
