This is not an industrial area, its zoned HA2 which allows for some light industrial, but it’s mixed use including residential. 70 db is the upper tier for certain activity zones, not for constant overnight from any source. We get louder noise from trains and helicopters, but this is a high pitched squeal that cuts through closed windows, and get louder at 1am when more fans turn on

This is now the rooftop of the building next to mine. Constant 70dB noise from HVAC equipment, 24 hours a day. Residents have filed dozens of complaints, yet the City of Vancouver has refused to take action. Industrial-scale infrastructure like this has no place in a dense downtown residential neighbourhood. And it occupies prime real estate(for homes or businesses) to provide only ~50 permanent jobs on site. Massive fail, data centre should be in some rural or industrial area

The lion isn't turning into a cow. There is deep biological logic behind this. Lions consume everything--fur, feathers, and bones-- much of which their digestive system cannot process. @ividboy @NoNonsenseND No way, after a sock is stretched or sweaty, it can't be worn again because it feels too weird until the wash/dryer resets it. My solution was to buy enough socks and underwear so that the other laundry always runs out first. 3:1 or 4:1 ratio to the shirts and pants.

@NoNonsenseND Sock stink is on a cooldown so if you don't feel like doing laundry, or sorting all of the socks from said laundry, you can rotate daily between the couple pairs you have easy access to (tread carefully)

I sent an email to Elections Alberta confirming my identity and informing them that I did NOT sign the separatist petition. I encourage you to do the same. The separatists have shown they will lie and cheat, and I don't put forgery past them. Better to be safe than sorry.

Canadians famously use time as a measurement of distance, but i propose we start using composite speed/time units (like lightyears) instead. eg. London is two carhours away from Toronto. My friend lives 90 footseconds up the road. I live 50 busminutes from downtown. etc

@stonersvilla Lowkey, this is just a population chart. Here's a version of the chart with per capita figures, which makes it more useful imo. The source for the data keeps it all behind a pay wall, so I just did a rough per capita with the numbers from this graph.
