Why Your Name Still Appears on Truecaller After Uninstalling ? Most people believe that deleting the Truecaller app automatically erases their data. However, your name and number remain stored on Truecaller’s servers even after the app is gone from your phone. To truly scrub your identity from their database, you must follow these two essential steps: ● Step 1 : Deactivate Your Account Simply uninstalling isn't enough; you must first tell the app to stop using your profile. Open the Truecaller app. Go to Settings > Privacy Center. Tap on Deactivate. Confirm by selecting Yes and Continue. Note : This deactivates your profile, but your number is still searchable in their database. ● Step 2: Unlist Your Number (The Most Important Step) To remove your number from the public directory so no one can search for you: Open your browser and search for "Truecaller Unlist". Go to the official Truecaller Unlisting Page. Scroll down to the "No, I want to unlist" section. Enter your mobile number with the correct Country Code (e.g., +91 for India). Select a reason (e.g., "I don't use this number anymore" or "Privacy concerns"). Solve the CAPTCHA and click Unlist. 👉 The Result : Within approximately 24 hours, your number will be removed from Truecaller’s public listing, and your name will no longer appear when someone searches for your number. Bottom Line : Uninstalling is just the start. Deactivation and Unlisting are the only ways to reclaim your privacy. 👉 Disclaimer : This information is for general digital privacy awareness. Processes may change according to Truecaller’s updated policies.

Bharti Airtel has become fully functional Mobile Service Operator at Navi Mumbai International Airport Ltd with Reliance Jio’s network soon to follow in coming days as per my sources.
SANJAY BAFNA@sanjaybafna

The Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), operated by Adani Group began commercial operations recently, reports emerged of poor or No Mobile Network Coverage of Reliance #Jio, #Airtel, and #Vodafone idea (Vi) inside the terminal, leading to a public dispute between telecom operators and the airport authority. Key Details of the Dispute : 👇 COAI's Allegations (representing Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi) ): NMIAL has denied Right of Way (RoW) permissions for telecom operators to deploy their own independent 4G/5G in-building solutions (IBS) infrastructure. This violates the Telecommunications Act, 2023 and RoW Rules, 2024, which require public entities like airports to grant non-discriminatory access. NMIAL is allegedly forcing operators to use its pre-installed "neutral host" IBS network at exorbitant charges (around ₹92 lakh per month per operator, totaling ~₹44 crore annually for major telcos). COAI claims this creates a monopolistic arrangement and blames NMIAL for connectivity gaps, urging the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to intervene (letter dated December 30, 2025). - Sanjay Bafna, Mobile and Telecom Analyst

Do you remember Orkut? The one who gave mainly of us the opportunity to open our heart on Internet for the first time! 😍 There was a time when there was a different kind of love ❤️ in the world of the Internet. The name Orkut was around 2006-07 millions of people in their country were making friends on the Internet for the first time. College boys used to log in to the cyber cafe by paying Rs 20-30, just to see who had sent the scrap. Imagine that people also considered scrap as love. "Don't forget to leave a scrap" used to be written on someone's profile and people used to think seeing 500 + scraps on someone's profile. .. Wah! That's how famous! Many people's first online crush was also on Orkut. Someone sat heartily on seeing the DP, someone smiled after reading the testimonial. People joined the community. "I love my India" "Shah Rukh Khan Fans" "or" Friends forever "" That's where there would be friendship, debate, sometimes even love, but truth be told, even today for those who have run Orkut, the most true and innocent memories of the Internet start from there. Because there were no followers... They were just friends. Perhaps there are a lot of people here whose memories are associated with the same orkut that made hearts beat for the first time on the Internet. Tell me by commenting if you also have any memory related to the same scrap.
