@M_McCormackMP As a farmer I’m keen for your explanation on how live exports ever made lamb cheaper for Aussies. You won’t be surprised to find out the majorities of Aussies don’t give a stuff if Live Exporter grubs go broke.

Lamb prices have plummeted. A #WestWyalong farmer tells me his lamb prices were $200 last year, this year: $68. His hoggets were $180 last year, this year: $25. A far cry from the $330+ per head of lamb farmers were getting in 2021. He blames conjecture over live export ban.

@JoPrender_gast WA Premier Roger Cook earlier this week dismissed the calls, saying sheep prices and a live export ban were "unrelated". What an incredible statement, he knows zero about the subject

Broken promise @MurrayWatt - Majorly caught out! We have an independent panel but the department decided to cease new market negotiations in January? 3 months prior to the Panel being announced? Clear evidence the panels decisions were made prior to appointment. #keepthesheep
