Pretty disappointing experience with @Avis on a recent family trip to Florida for spring break.
Booked a Bronco months in advance and was specifically directed to reserve at a location 30 minutes from JAX airport because that’s where the vehicle was available.
Instead:
• Had to cancel/rebook just to change pickup date → charged $300 more
• Arrived and the Bronco wasn’t even there
• Given a Chevy Blazer that reeked of marijuana
Not the experience I expected, especially with Avis Platinum status via @AmericanAir.

@VerizonSupport We’ve been customers for 17 years. We returned a mis-shipped phone 9 months ago via UPS. You received it, but never processed it—now we’re being charged $1,400.
Countless calls. Store visits. No resolution. No callbacks.
Can someone with refund authority please help?

@metraBNSF no seats available on BN1234. Add the 8th car back in please.
English
@Metra How was it concluded that less rail cars were needed for the same demand? BN1234 needs at least one additional car.
English

@sdchurma Metra and BNSF Railway estimated how trains on the new schedule would be used and assigned our finite number of railcars accordingly. We know some adjustments to train sizes are needed and a few trains for the morning rush added a railcar. We are monitoring the situation closely.
English
@metraBNSF Seems that with YoY fair hikes service would at a minimum stay the same, not decline.
English
@metraBNSF Why is it now after the fact car count is a problem? Why not have excess capacity at the beginning and then taper off to meet demand?
English
@metraBNSF Surely Metra knew before the schedule change what passenger demand was for each run and what the required capacity was.
