@CaswellAdrian @PeterboroughCS That’s never going to happen unless you live in a communist state. It’s not just those on lower income that need houses. The development provides 30% social housing which is the standard set by government.

@PTstephenB That speedway is an economically viable sport at show ground - it’s not without charity. lands been privately sold so if not this developer then another will build homes on it - no room for noisy bikes. Shame on authority figures looking for easy votes by spreading false hope.

Interestingly AEPG have put out a social media post (and emailed us) suggesting they have 'noticed the amount of incorrect information currently circulating in the media and on socials etc' re speedway. When asked what specifically was incorrect, they were unable to point it out.

@PoliticsPboro PF have only recently settled into administration. In the interest of the city the best thing to do would be to leave PF at the helm for the time being. They can always take control later when the grunt work is done digging the city out of the hole Tories made

So the question at this point is who will be leading the Council for the next 2 years? Labour are now comfortably the biggest party, but short of a majority. If they work with PF, between them they have 34 seats. Does the current arrangement continue? Or do Labour take charge?

Alas, this communication game is really hard. As I say, I accept some responsibility.

To be clear, 'Independent' is not a group. We are independent of one another, not aligned in any way to each other or to any political group. Some I have spoken to seem a little confused about that.
