@LincolnRestler We also received no offers and are sitting on waitlists, currently 77th for one single class. We spoke to that school who said they reached out to DOE to try to open a 2nd class and DOE said they would wait to see demand. It's 77 kids! There's your demand!

The Mayor’s budget cuts nearly $1B in funding for 3-K. DOE has repeatedly said there is no demand for 3-K, but even with limited outreach to families, they are failing to provide a seat for every 3-year-old who applied. Here are some of the stories we’ve heard from BK families:
