I think it would be a fascinating psychological study on why Indians have these crazy loyalties towards individuals who are either actors or sportspersons. You can like them, adore them, admire them but we Indians take it to the next level. People in the west also like actors and sportspeople but they don't throw themselves on the cars of their sports hero, abuse families of their opponents on social media, go ballastically crazy at the mere sight, even when they are actually not performing. Have you heard someone from the USA or Australia, take money from their own pocket, sometimes at the expense of their families, for printing posters of the latest Tom cruise movie. Or have you heard Chinese or South East Asian people kill their mother for not allowing them to watch their Hero's movie on the first day. I mean such stories are endless. And this craziness is not restricted to one state or one city. It is across India. From Amritsar to Andipatti, Muzaffarpur to Marthandam, this phenomenon is spread everywhere. What makes Indians so crazy about individuals that they are ready to lose their sanity and stability over them?? Is it some psychological flaw or is it some temporary phase which will go away??
