Have been married to the same loving, painfully honest, thoughtful, challenging, fiercely loyal, consistently inconsistent, culinarily gifted, passionate (in ways good & sometimes less so) woman for 24 years now. I’ve been several people over those decades yet she’s managed to find the best parts of each one, while patiently chipping away at the worst edges. She still misses me when I’m gone & likes me being within an outstretched arm when I’m not. Not too shabby a life I’ve stumbled upon.
