@bla_bidza Very interesting take here. It is definitely such waste but if they regulate and redirect, who will fund the beautification 🤔🤔🤔
English

Dear Hurumende,
May I respectfully propose the introduction of by-laws to regulate the size of tombstones, while encouraging the redirection of stone materials towards urban beautification projects.
Consider the extensive stonework found at burial sites such as Warren Hills, Mbudzi Cemetery, and all various rural family shrines. If a portion of these resources were repurposed for paving and landscaping, they could significantly enhance areas such as First Street and many other roads across Harare and cities throughout the country.
Such an approach would not only promote sustainable use of materials but also contribute meaningfully to improving the aesthetic and functional quality of our urban spaces.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.
Yours sincerely,
Uya Uya

The Zanu PF government & parliament has effectively alienated the entire diaspora constituency in its constitution consultative process. No sessions have been organized for us, and we firmly believe that decisions impacting us should not be made without our input. Nothing for US without US! In response, we will conduct our own citizen consultations and submit the outcomes. It's clear they are afraid of us. They only come to us when they want money!. #DiasporaUnity @BarbaraTanyany4 @CliffordHlatyw1 @BvondoChidziva @hwendec @KarenyiKore @gladyshlatywayo @JoanaMamombe @MdcallianceZ @OpenParlyZw @ParliamentofZim @ZimZPJF @ParliamentZim @JulianaNonoza @JamesonTimba @BitiTendai @DavidColtart @DougColtart @Cde_Ostallos @ChibayaaCitizen @cmadziva1 @ChangeRadioZW @ZimEye @NehandaRadio @nelsonchamisa @simba_bako @MurozviMutapa @ropamakumire @MushoriwaEdwin @BeaullarMushon1 @drDendere @JudithTobaiwa2 @chinyokaP @edmnangagwa @NgarivhumeJ @maz_mai @MacBelts @mudharagee @JobSikhala1 @daddyhope

KNOW THE LAW
Let it be clear that the extension of President @edmnangagwa ‘s term to 2030 under the auspices of the auspices of the Constitutional Amendment Bill No 3 is CONSTITUTIONAL and does not amount to a 3RD TERM.
This is because:
◼️Section 91(2) of the Constitution states that a FULL Presidential term is 3 or more years.
Yet this Constitutional Amendment Bill seeks to:
◼️ extend President Mnangagwa’s term by from 2028-2030, that is only 2 years which is not a 3rd term because, a full Presidential term is 3 or more years.
This means that extending President ED’s term to 2030 does not amount to a 3rd term hence there is no need to conduct a referendum.

Apart from the fact that @nelsonchamisa is a dictator and ruthless leader. The other reason why he will never rule Zimbabwe is attributed to his choice of association. For example, he appointed @Cde_Ostallos as the Head of Political Planning and Strategy. The same Siziva Ostallos who took 5 years studying a 3 year Political Science program at UZ, on top of that he failed core modules that include Political Theory, Strategic Studies and Introduction to Political Science. Infact he is an unstrategic and loud sounding political-nobody. We all know Nero is doomed to fail.

➡️ When Wicknell and his crew show off their luxury vehicles purchased with looted and illgotten state funds, it demonstrates the HALF BAKED thinking of ZANU PF people. 🧏🏾♂️
Driving luxury cars on undeveloped roads, mud and potholes is the same mentality as wearing an expensive Armani suit when your underwear is old, ragged and full of holes... 🩲
It makes no sense, and demonstrates severe poverty of THINKING.

You, @Cde_MMChinomona, are an ultimate embarrassment to Zimbabwe, including ZANUPF. How can the President of the Senate of an entire country involve herself in a radio station’s fun poll about Person of the Year while more than 2,500 women are dying during childbirth, the biggest hospital has only one maternity theatre, the whole country has no single working radiotherapy cancer treatment machine, unemployment stands at over 90 per cent, citizens receive only two to four hours of electricity per day, and the country is facing an open succession war.
You are determined to embarrass not only the country but also your boss and the President by publicly fighting over a radio station poll. This is political and media illiteracy of the highest order.
ZIFM is a youth radio station. Its audience is largely young and unemployed people. It is therefore natural that its listeners would relate to and support Fadzayi Mahere, a young lawyer they see as speaking to their lived realities and struggles.
Have some shame, Madam, and focus on statecraft, not radio polls. For the President of a country’s Senate to threaten a radio presenter with persecution over a light-hearted poll is a new low for Zimbabwe.
It reflects a complete lack of emotional intelligence, a deep misunderstanding of media and youth culture, and political bankruptcy. Shame on you.
For the avoidance of doubt, I had not seen your tweet. A regional foreign affairs minister asked me what is going on. Stop this childish four year old behaviour. You have sunk from the gutter into the sewer. You are internationalising your lack of common sense and embarrassing yourself on a global stage.
A whole ruling party getting hot under the collar over a fun radio poll? Shame on you.
To quote Fadzayi Mahere, Zimbabwe needs new and mature leaders, not skunks like you, ma’am.
