≛ UN ANNUAL RESULT REPORT 2025 (ERITREA)
In 2025, a mother in Debub delivered triplets at Mendefera Referral Hospital, and all three survived. A pastoralist household kept its cattle alive through a drought that threatened years of accumulated livelihood. A girl in Gash-Barka sat at a computer for the first time and learned to type. A former practitioner of female genital mutilation (FGM) stood before her community and declared: “End it now.”
These are not isolated moments. They reflect the lived experience of a development trajectory that Eritrea is shaping steadily, on its own terms, driven by the aspirations of its people.
Nahla Valji,
United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Eritrea

I will leave this video clip out here. The current National Security Advisor of Abiy Ahmed Ali, @RedwanHussien arguing perfectly under the last regime, why a landlocked #Ethiopia is not affected economically for not owning ports. And it was Menelik's signed treaties that left Ethiopia without sea access, so go and blame Menelik and give the Horn of #Africa some peace. @AsstSecStateAF @US_SrAdvisorAF

Two Ethiopia-based members have joined the caravan of UAE-funded think tank and pseudo-news X accounts. One of them, IFA, operates directly under Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and uses AI-generated articles to launch baseless attacks against neighboring countries and regional powers. The other similarly publishes unfounded articles while inviting academics and journalists from around the world as part of an effort to whitewash Ethiopia’s image.

No surprises there!
Their frantic, last-ditch — albeit futile — attempt to prevent the rectification of a historic wrong makes it abundantly clear that they thrive on the misfortune of African peoples.

News of a possible reset in relations between #Eritrea and the #US has deeply rattled anti-Eritrea pundits, who often frame such a possibility as an attempt to prop up Eritrea. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth. No amount of paid PR can smoke screen this fact.

The truths Ethiopia does not want to admit
— Since the beginning of the war, RSF militants and mercenaries have reportedly been transported via Ethiopian Airlines.
— RSF militants and wounded mercenaries have allegedly received medical treatment in Ethiopia.
— Reuters previously reported that nearly 4,000 RSF fighters were being trained at a military camp in Ethiopia’s Benishangul-Gumuz region.
— Sudanese army stated that it contacted the manufacturer of a drone launched from Ethiopia and was able to trace the aircraft’s flight route.
— There are eyewitness accounts claiming that Ethiopian soldiers and military vehicles entered the Sudanese border town of Kurmuk.
— Sudanese army has accused Bahir Dar and Asosa airports of serving as UAE/RSF drone hubs targeting Sudan since January.
— Satellite imagery analyzed by Yale University’s Humanitarian Research Lab revealed significant activity at an Ethiopian National Defence Force base in Asosa near the Sudanese border. The images reportedly showed hundreds of vehicles resembling RSF technicals arriving at the site, with supply chains allegedly linked to the UAE base in Berbera, Somaliland.

ETHIOPIA JOINS THE UAE’S WAR ON SUDAN
Sudan has provided evidence that the drones which hit its main airport were fired from Ethiopian soil.
April 2026 offered hope for the Sudanese people. The UN reported that almost four million people voluntarily returned, while a direct international flight landed at the country's main airport for the first time since the war began.
However, hopes were dashed days later after Khartoum International Airport was hit by drones from the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia as part of an offensive targeting army-held territories across the country.
On 4 May, Sudanese Army spokesman Brigadier General Asim Awad Abdelwahab presented evidence
linking the attacks to the UAE and Ethiopia. Analysis of a downed drone established that it was operated from Bahir Dar airport within Ethiopia, while the drone was confirmed by the manufacturer to be owned by the UAE.
This follows reports from Reuters detailing Ethiopia's hosting of an RSF training camp. In addition, satellite imagery analysed by the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab revealed an Ethiopian National Defence Force (ENDF) base being used to assist the RSF. Open-source investigative researchers also report that Ethiopia has replaced Libya as the primary transit route for Emirati weapons destined for the RSF, which is given. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's reliance on the UAE, which has provided billions in financial assistance, forms part of the "Ring of Fire" around Sudan, where neighbouring states that receive UAE funds facilitate Sudan’s collapse.
But as analyst Cameron Hudson noted, using Ethiopian territory for direct attacks goes far beyond the support provided by other neighbours.
Nonetheless, Abiy Ahmed’s participation in a cycle whereby African states destroy one another to benefit an external master represents another tragic case of African sovereignty being sold to the highest bidder.

#Eri101: It’s finally dawning on the Horn’s pseudo-experts: against all odds, Eritrea remains a pillar of peace and stability in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea regions. Yet, to earn their living, they double down on defaming a proud, self-reliant, fiercely independent nation.
