Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are the last remaining free market. There are no circuit breakers. There are no hours of operations. There are no bailouts. Each person is left to participate in the market how they see fit. Every market should be the same.

@cropbytesfarm @JeffBooth @SquareOfNine Jesus christ, everytime with the bitcoin is too expensive thing. Bitcoin is divisible into 100,000,000 units called satoshis. Currently 1 usd = 2761 satoshis. We really need to switch to Sats soon or people won't stop with the you have to own 1btc fallacy.

If the orderbook for btc were very small, and somebody market buys 700m$ of btc, he could well pump the price to astronomical levels (say 100k$), simply because there aren't enough btc to satisfy his order. Marketcap would thus 3x from currentlevel

@APompliano True, but the greed on alts is still insane imo. When bitcoin, just now, showed the slightest hint of bottoming out, alts absolutely rocketed. Frankly it's ridiculous and it seems to me this market might still be too greedy.

@michael_saylor I think the bottom is in, the volume around 30000 was so insane, I imagine many a coin transferred from weak to steong hands at that level.

@culkin22 They won't buy though, I've heard that a thousand times. I guarantee you if it went down to 10k they wouldn't buy. It takes a special type of person to buy something that has been experiencing a huge downtrend.

@c1tpyrc @JasonYanowitz This is definitely an issue. However, consider that it's a vocal minority. IMO Most Bitcoin Hodlers are quietly watching and a few are even pointing out the toxicity themselves. Nothing changes the fact that Bitcoin is the best store of value asset ever created.
