@malisauskasLT Great to see Kaching evolving so fast. Is it you who is mainly responsible for the new product ideas at Kaching?

@alex_lrz_nmv crushing it man! What did you start doing differently 3 days ago that got so much attention?

my personal playbook.
- spend quality time with my family.
- keep full time job. motivation drops here gradually, but I like my workplace.
- spin up my first mobile app. run ads, do minor features, fix bugs.
- once it runs without needing much attention, start the next app from my list.
repeat until side projects make enough money to leave full time work.
is it going to work?

Sometimes I have some weird loop as well when Claude cannot fix simple bug. I try switching between models, switching effort, shouting on it 😅 - but does not fix either.
In the hose cases what proven to be working for me is to write detailed prompt. But if I don’t understand what the bug is, then I have to debug and most likely fix it manually (which is supper annoying)

@starter_story The interview with this guy was one of the key inspirations for me to start working on my own projects. Thanks, Pat!

He taught himself how to code with ChatGPT...
Then built 3 iphone apps. Made $10M in revenue.
We called him up and asked him to break it all down. Talked for hours, but cut out all the fluff to give you all the alpha:

same app
the only real difference here is marketing
when i launched it back in december, it got just 25 downloads in total
i stopped working on it as the app store boost gave basically nothing
picked it back up at the end of february and started doing consistent marketing
now it’s at almost 600 organic downloads a month and still growing
same product, just different distribution
