@weldeiry Please tell me, as a cancer doc and scientist, you know the difference between soft tissue sarcomas and cutaneous soft tissue sarcomas? This is disqualifying for any oncologist, especially in the context of the implications of your post.

According to AI “There is no single database providing a direct comparison of "cutaneous soft tissue sarcoma" (CSTS) incidence specifically for the upper arm versus the forearm for the exact years of 2019 and 2024” Here is a paper from 2025 that has data only up to 2019: Incidence rate analysis of cutaneous soft tissue sarcomas in the USA pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12…

Here is a case of sarcoma in the arm in a younger person that is coming out in the lay press. Ed Sheeran reveals wife Cherry, 32, Seaborn is 'on the other side' of cancer journey as he talks about her having operation to remove tumour after she'd given birth to second child dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/arti… No mention of Covid vaccination in the article. Also relevant to know if she ever had a shot in the same area where the sarcoma developed and same arm. According to a Chat-GPT query sent to me by a friend, Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn both received COVID-19 vaccinations. Ed publicly expressed his views on the importance of vaccinations and encouraged his fans to get vaccinated as well. He also mentioned in interviews that he was grateful for the vaccine, especially considering his commitments to touring and performing. Their vaccination status aligns with many public figures advocating for health and safety during the pandem. It’s highly suspicious. Some skeptics say this could all be random. That’s why reporting is important and science can address potential underlying factors such as Covid mRNA vaccines.

I think the question of in which clinical scenarios, FT should be used in prostate cancer is still being clarified. At this point, it may be more appropriate to view FT as an area of ongoing investigation and evidence generation, rather than assuming in advance that no patient would choose this option if fully informed. In clinical practice, treatment decisions often involve balancing multiple factors, particularly the trade-off between oncologic control and functional outcomes. Different patients may weigh these trade-offs very differently. Historically, many treatment technologies in oncology and surgery were introduced into practice before high-level comparative evidence was available, and their role only became clearer over time as more clinical studies accumulated. Therefore, rather than presuming the answer that no patient would choose this off-label option if fully informed, it may be more reasonable to continue generating high quality prospective data to better define which patients, if any, might benefit from this approach.

Curious what a Masterclass in a non-FDA approved, non-guideline supported treatment looks like?🤷‍♂️ EAU says to not do unless on prospective study, NCCN says the same. Is it how to manage the toxicity and recurrence for the patients I am sure are all enrolled on trials who are being treated? Share more what is going on in London 🙏

Fantastic Masterclass in Robotic HIFU today at @CleClinicUro London @FocalOneHIFU Thank you to @FocalOneHIFU @SNathanUK for inviting me Lots to think about- starting focal therapy service, advantages of robotic platform, patient selection, guidelines, contemporary trial data…

@Debbie85661458 @weldeiry In what cancers? In what countries? In what sources is there this dramatic increase in cancers after 2021? In the US data demonstrates slight increase in incidence but seemingly not for reasons related to vaccination status but lifestyle, screening/diagnosis, disparities.

@sky__john @weldeiry Of course it did but nowhere close to what we are seeing post injection ! Why so many increases in cancer since 2021?! What major event occurred? Hmmm…can’t think of one 🙄

@DongNguyeb @MrJosephNorris @DrSpratticus In what clinical scenario would FT be used for prostate cancer, and which fully informed patient would choose this off-label approach given the outcomes compared with established alternatives? Seems highly unlikely that anyone would agree if appropriately consented.

@DrSpratticus seems to hopeless to make any valid argument against FT other than repeatedly spreading misleading interpretations. First, most devices used for FT have received FDA clearance through the 510(k) pathway for tissue ablation. This clearance means the device can be marketed and used safely from a technical device standpoint, but it does not represent an evaluation of clinical efficacy for a specific disease. Therefore, using FT to treat prostate cancer is an off-label use, which is entirely permissible in clinical practice when you have a reasonable medical rationale and appropriate informed consent. Second, it is true that guidelines such as EAU and NCCN currently recommend that FT be performed within a clinical trial or prospective registry, largely because long-term oncologic evidence is still evolving. However, this does not mean that educational masterclasses are not allowed to teach how to do FT . A masterclass is simply an educational activity, training in technique, sharing experience, and discussing clinical cases. It is not the same as clinical practice and therefore falls outside the scope of guideline recommendations. Finally, if FT truly proves ineffective, long-term follow-up data will ultimately demonstrate that. Science advances through evidence over time. Repeatedly presenting exaggerated or misleading claims does not contribute to a constructive scientific discussion.

@JeromeAdamsMD @ADM_Christine That number of patients in 11 years is unbelievable. Add to that, she admitted during the hearing that she has not seen patients in several years and that number becomes outright ridiculous.

Admiral, 'unexpired' license is inactive (can't practice/ prescribe per her own testimony). USPHS docs have always needed active/unrestricted licenses-has that bar been lowered under your watch? And tens of thousands ot patients seen over 11 yrs? Math doesn't add up for unfinished residency + closed practice. Facts and transparency over wordplay & hyperbole, please. 🙏🏽

@cpeedell @DrSpratticus @MRoupret @EurUrolOncol @ESTRO_RT @Uroweb Hear me out. If a bunch of prostate rad oncs had an Onion-style satirical journal and came up with an idea how to twist data to *joke* about how we feel urologists see prostate radiation, this is pretty much the article that would ensue. I almost can’t believe it’s not satire

Pro tip: If you're going to use Gemini to make infographics, you'll want to practice and experiment with it before putting something out in the world... Unless you love unintentional comedy.

It’s not just a grant/project that is canceled. This approach does not simply redirect our great scientists to something else. We derail their careers. We threaten scientific progress. And the next gen of scientists is cut at the roots. Incredibly short sighted 😞
