While Chamisa and Biti are not friends, but his silence on the arrest of Biti and the mutilation of the constitution says alot about Nelson Chamisa's character and shows us were his true allegiance lies.
As a young person I'm slowly loosing my trust in Chimisa.

Charlton Hwende 1st contested to be a member of parliament for Chegutu in 2013. As MDC T candidate, he lost to Dexter Nduna of Zanu PF who got 57% of the votes.
When Chamisa became the presidential candidate in 2018, Hwende with the endorsement of Chamisa ran for Kuwadzana member of parliament and won. Previously, Chamisa had been the MP for Kuwadzana.
Of interest is that the contest to become the representative for MDC Alliance in Kuwadzana was controversial as Shakespeare Mukoyi, the leader of MDC-T’s vanguard, was also interested in the Kuwadzana seat in the primaries. Although Mukoyi was the preferred candidate, he later pulled out after Chamisa endorsed Hwende.
Today, Hwende is bashing the same man who offered Kuwadzana parliamentary seat to him on a silver platter.

There is a falsehood being spread by the Chapwati Cult that MPs went to the swearing-in in Parliament against the advice of the leader. This is not correct. In fact, a meeting was called the same day, ostensibly to select our own candidates to field for Speaker and Deputy Speaker. However, the meeting was deliberately dragged past the start of the election. We were only released from the advocates' chambers five minutes before the start of the Speaker's election, and we had to travel to the new Parliament in Mt. Hampden. We’ve moved on but I still want to know why Hon Biti, Prof Ncube and Mai Kore took over CCC and claimed to be rotational presidents but then did nothing. 2030 is now likely because zanu pf has a 2/3 majority which they made possible. Voting in 2023 was such a pain. Such a pain.

@drDendere This is a sellout class, Bhebhe was part of the Khupe and Mwonzora advance group which did a lot of damage before Tshabangu and his group. It's unfortunate that Biti is further polluting his politics with this group. They did worse than Tshabangu and should never be forgiven
