Spoke to a CRO of a hot Series B startup yesterday: “We don’t have the knowledge internally to implement AI and agents into our process.” Toast. You are toast. That is unacceptable. Everyone can learn. There is zero excuse for the above.

What a week! Just got back to Sydney! This was presented to me from the NZX at our IPO. It’s a special NZ shell which use to be used as a form of currency. In years ahead physical notes we use today will be framed and handed out as gifts.

Today we listed @smarterwebuk on the London Stock Exchange. Honored to join @asjwebley in pressing the button The lady from LSE said if we don’t press it at exactly the right time, the stock exchange won’t start trading. She was joking, we think Onward and upward! 🎉🧡🫡

I’ve had more people reach out to me shaken in this cycle than even in 2022 (when Bitcoin went down 75% from $68k ATH to $16k!) saying they’re panicked, they sold, or they’re suddenly “not sure” about Bitcoin. Some bailed into gold because they still want to stay on the hard money train. Some are convinced quantum computing is about to “break” Bitcoin. Some tell me I’m reckless for being so undiversified with my life’s savings. I understand the fear. Drawdowns aren’t fun. They can mess with your confidence and your timeline…especially when the mood is this dark (and when your income is tied to the same asset you’re holding!). But here’s where I’m at: Bitcoin is still the only life raft worth holding and helping other people find. My mom gets $900 a month in Social Security. Who can live on that? That’s not a retirement plan - it’s a slow economic strangulation. So no, I’m not in Bitcoin because it’s some thrilling get rich overnight scheme. I’m in Bitcoin because I don’t see another path that gives everyday families like mine a real shot. I didn’t get in early enough to be “set.” I’m still building. Still working. Still trying to protect the people I love in a system that keeps making life more expensive! I haven’t lost faith….not because I’m numb to this volatility, but because the problem Bitcoin solves hasn’t gone away. If you’re shaken right now, you’re not weak. You’re human. Just don’t confuse a bad market mood with a broken thesis. Keep going. Zoom out. Do the work. Take care of your family. I’m doing the same. We’ve got this.

Andrew Wilkinson
Andrew Wilkinson@awilkinson·
This is all I'm thinking about right now.
Dan Shipper 📧@danshipper

Andrew Wilkinson (@awilkinson) has been waking up at 4 a.m. because he can’t stop building with @AnthropicAI’s Opus 4.5. He started vibe coding a couple of years ago, but it felt like the Palm Treo era of the smartphone—exciting, but not quite there. You could generate an app, but it would get stuck in bug loops or break the moment you pushed it further. Then he tried Opus 4.5 in Claude Code. It felt, he says, like having a “$100,000-a-month payroll of engineers” working for him 24/7. He’s built practical AI automations into every corner of his work and life, including: - A relationship counselor app called Deep Personality that consolidates 20 clinically validated personality tests into a 40-minute assessment, then generates a 45-page analysis. When both partners complete it, it maps compatibility and predicts conflicts—Wilkinson says it laid out every fight he and his girlfriend have. - A custom email client he built by handing Claude Code his Gmail credentials and describing his ideal workflow. It triages emails by priority and sender, handles quick replies via multiple choice, and walks him through complex emails question by question before drafting. - A personal stylist that texts him four outfit recommendations every morning. It checks the weather, pulls from a spreadsheet of his entire wardrobe (photos converted to CSV by Claude), generates four outfit options rendered as images with @NanoBanana, and texts him what to wear down to the watch. - A @getlindy agent that acts as an AI referee of sorts—it records his meetings and texts him if it detects psychological red flags like manipulation or gaslighting. The bar is high—he only gets a notification every few months—but when he does, it usually confirms a gut feeling he already had. Andrew is the cofounder of Tiny, the holding company that owns businesses like @AeroPress and @Dribbble. Earlier in his career, Andrew was a web designer, and he fits one of my predictions for 2026: Designers, who know how to create great experiences for users, are the unsung group most empowered by this AI moment. I had him on @every's AI & I to talk about Opus 4.5, what he’s building with it, and how it’s changing the way he thinks about acquiring software businesses at Tiny. This is a must-watch for anyone who wants to put AI to work in their day-to-day life. Watch below! Timestamps: Introduction: 00:01:07 Why Opus 4.5 feels like the iPhone moment for vibe coding: 00:02:48 Why designers have a unique advantage with AI: 00:08:31 How Andrew built a custom email client with Claude Code: 00:14:10 An AI trained on your relationship that predicts your fights: 00:18:13 Using AI meeting notes to make your life better: 00:30:40 Don't inject your opinion into prompts: 00:35:11 Andrew's Claude Code tips and workflows: 00:40:21 Your personal stylist is a prompt away: 00:47:59 How AI is changing the way Andrew invests in software: 00:53:17

I’m starting to develop bad FOMO if my agents aren’t running 24x7. It feels like the opportunity cost is extreme. It’s like you have a team of 100 engineers just sitting there because you haven’t given them work to do. Not a great feeling actually. And I’m feeling this even after shipping a feature on a Saturday. Anyone else experiencing this?

"Sell the alpha, not the feature": The enterprise sales playbook for $1M to $10M ARR with @jjen_abel Jen is GM of Enterprise at @StateAffairsUS, co-founder @jjellyfish_co, and one of the sharpest minds I've ever met on all things enterprise sales. In this follow-up to our first chat two years ago (covering the founder-led sales zero to $1M phase), we focus on what founders need to know to grow from $1M to $10M ARR. We discuss: 🔸 The dangers of pricing your product $10K-$20K 🔸 Why tier-1 logos counterintuitively make the best early customers 🔸 Why the “mid-market” doesn’t exist 🔸 How to find and work with design partners 🔸 Why you need to vision-cast instead of problem-solve 🔸 Why services are the fastest way to get your foot in the door with enterprises 🔸 When to hire your first salesperson and what profile to look for 🔸 Much more Listen now 👇 • YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=37fKFW… • Spotify: open.spotify.com/episode/29WRTO… • Apple: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sel… Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for supporting the podcast: 🏆 @WorkOS—Modern identity platform for B2B SaaS, free up to 1 million MAUs: workos.com/lenny 🏆 @Lovable—Build apps by simply chatting with AI: lovable.dev 🏆 @coda_hq—The all-in-one collaborative workspace: coda.io/lenny
