It’s been 295 weeks since I lost my faith in atheism. 2066 days. So I’ve had some time to think about what I say next… People often ask “What makes Christianity any different from any other religion.” If I could give you a TL;DR… It would be that every other religion says you need to work your way up the mountain to reach God. While in Christianity God comes down the mountain to meet us in our brokenness. This is the story of Jesus. Born of a virgin, does miraculous signs and wonders to prove his deity, and is resurrected after death just in case anyone was still unsure. A God who was willing to let His own people beat Him, and crucify Him, all so that He could take their punishment upon Himself so they could be with Him for eternity. That would be the shallow level description. Just the facts of the answer. But it’s deeper… This God who came down from His place in Heaven, a paradise beyond anything we can imagine, gets asked a question while standing among men on earth. Fully God and fully man, during His greatest speech (Matthew 5-7), his followers ask… How should we pray? In essence they’re asking, how do we throw up a bat signal to call on you when we need a hero? How do radio for help? And His answer has melted my heard for 2066 days. I hope it never becomes common to me. He says start your prayer by calling me your Father. “Our Father, who art in Heaven. Hallowed be thy name.” He doesn’t want to be just our God. He wants to be our Father, and that is another key difference. He isn’t far away. He isn’t mad at us. He isn’t waiting for us to earn His favor. He sits on high and saves a seat at His table for us right next to Him. This has brought a whole new meaning to “Fathers Day” for me and while I still celebrate my earthly father for all he has done for me. I also celebrate my Heavenly Father and thank Him for all He has done for me as well. Happy Father’s Day fam. 🙏❤️

These are the opening times of a bank in Southern Europe So 8:30 opens Then 12:30 everyone goes for lunch for an hour (at least!) Comes back 13:30 to work another 1.5 hour and then at 15:00 everyone goes home Saturday or Sunday? Hell no we ain't working Tuesday? Well it's a holiday so hell no we ain't working then either That adds up to a total of 22 hours worked this week (!!!) Or 27.5 hours if no holidays, but there are a lot of holidays 😂 And then people complain about cost of living, well what do you expect if the rest of the world works 2x more?
