Several friends have recently started to raise angel rounds for interesting projects. Some consumer focused some cypherpunk focused. 1. Correct, industry mostly selects for the B+ to A- talent in a field, which is good for everybody left: the A talent is clearly identifiable and because of power law behavior that’s what you want, and the B talent gets a shot at a position they actually want with less competition.
