@pumpolinsky @SexyJeffersin @coinbase @binance Kaspa is honestly too good for them. But if they want to buy it and list it then they are a business and maybe they will see the light.

You have a great opinion about it but just once I wish I could have spoken to my mom or any doctor once she was admitted. I could only talk to a station nurse. They even got her name wrong on many occasions and confused with my aunt. Its horrifying going thru the real events. Both my aunt and mom died in the same week.
English

@stevenmwells @liz_churchill10 @Ikennect You only get put on a ventilator if you have little to no chance to survive anymore. It is a last resort.
I'm sorry for you loss. But the doctors and nurses did their absolute best to keep her alive and with us.

@BitcoinRachy I appreciate the work you put into this and it raises so many good points. Im just excited to live in a time where both of these technological marvels exist. We actually need them both to succeed and more ppl to understand what they represent.

@Kaspionkas @EEd0990 @MARA They absolutely understand crypto and have massive insight into markets. They will be positioned when the time comes, and its coming for kas bc its the best tech ever invented for pow.
English

🚨 Why is @MARA selling #Bitcoin… but not touching #Kaspa? 🤔
Marathon just sold a massive amount of $BTC — yet their $Kas holdings remain untouched.
Is this just profit-taking… or a strategic shift? 👀
Are they seeing more upside in Kaspa than Bitcoin right now?
Or is something bigger coming that the market hasn’t priced in yet?
Smart money doesn’t move randomly. Follow the signals. 📊🔥

I love Bitcoin. I still hodl Bitcoin but unless you can disprove #Kaspa’s GhostDAG whitepaper you have to accept that Kaspa can massively scale and is incredibly fast whilst maintaining Bitcoin grade security and has the ability to be far more decentralised than Bitcoin thanks to it being much more efficient with mining and running nodes.
If you truly love tech (especially if you claim to be a cypherpunk) then why the hell would Kaspa get you excited.
You can love both networks, you don’t have to be a fanatic
English

If you were once a Bitcoiner and now bought #Kaspa $KAS, what is your reason for doing so?

@Mrcryptoxwhale I take to urgent care and pay cash when I think they need antibiotics. I dont even tell them I have insurance. Its such a scam.

@SarahisCensored @mattvanswol It hasnt been fixed and they have had time to do it. I think prayer is wonderful since its all we got.

I’m very worried for Texas. In east Texas, where we are, we are in the red. And last time (in 2021) when our grid failed, 300 people died. Everyone bought up the propane over a week ago in my county. You can’t even get a propane refill. So if our power fails, we’re in trouble. So let’s definitely exchange prayers. The grid has NOT been fixed since 2021.

I’m honestly more worried about this ice storm than I want to admit, and I don’t think people who weren’t here for Hurricane Helene really get why.
Helene didn’t just knock trees down...
There are trees all over these mountains that were basically destroyed during Helene and they’ve just been sitting there for over a year, hanging by a thread.
You see them every day on the roads. A tree that’s “standing,” but not really. It’s angled, strained, and you can tell it’s one bad moment away from coming down.
If we’re really talking about getting a half inch to three-quarters of an inch of ice... we could be in serious trouble here.
That sounds like nothing if you’ve never watched what ice does to trees and power lines. But that's SO much weight.
Trees that are already compromised don’t bend.
They snap.
There's a few hanging over my road that have looked like they could fall for over a year, and I know plenty of people that feel the same way about trees hanging over their houses that Helene weakened.
But what makes it worse is that a few areas are still not back to normal infrastructure-wise, not even close.
There are temporary power poles ALL OVER the place... which was fine and worked, but not meant for this weather.
There are stretches, especially in the hardest hit areas where the system isn't going to hold.
Helene was devastating for a lot of reasons, but one of the biggest is just because it's so hard to get to some of these places tucked away in the mountains.
I'm worried, very worried that power will get knocked out in some of these rural areas and then it gets very cold...
The ice storm is so widspread, that's a lot of ground to cover for linemen and with all that ice... roads get slick, especially going up into the hollers.
Some places are one narrow road in and one narrow road out. If that road gets iced over or blocked and you can't get out... you’re not getting help quickly.
Like I said, those single digit temps on Monday through the week are scary.
Homes without an extra source of heat, will lose heat fast. Pipes freeze and burst. People on wells lose water. Cell service can get spotty if towers lose power or backups run out. And if someone is elderly, or alone, or already barely getting by, it doesn’t take long for this is inconvenient to turn into this is a real emergency, we saw this in Helene.
Not to go on and on... but even that freezing rain has me worried.
Snow at least looks like a storm. But freezing rain looks like a normal day until it isn’t and people might be driving and thinking it's fine, when it's absolutely not.
I’m not trying to panic anyone. I’m trying to be realistic, because we already learned what realistic looks like here when infrastructure is stressed and weather stacks on top of it.
Honestly, if you’re in the mountains, this is one of those storms where it’s worth acting like you might be on your own for a bit. Charge what you can. Fuel what you can. Fill water containers if you’re on a well. Pull blankets and extra layers out now. Check on neighbors who might not be ready.
I hope it’s nothing. I really hope I’m wrong.
But if we get even the low end of that ice forecast, on top of Helene’s damage and all these temporary fixes still out there, it could get ugly fast.

😭😟 very, very sad day…
a good friend of mine, after 7 yrs of medical school and training has been fired for one minor indiscretion..
he slept with one of his patients and can no longer work in the profession.
what a waste of time, effort, training, and money.
he’s still paying on his school loans.
this just goes to show one minor mistake can ruin your life.
thoughts for him and his family.
he really is a great guy and a brilliant veterinarian
