I came second to Reform in last week’s council elections, so I understand the frustration many voters are feeling.

I’m hearing that @UKLabour MPs are being briefed to say that if there is a change of leader it is inevitable that there will be a GE now. Why would anybody brief that? It isn’t true. We have a tendency to make matters so much worse than they have to be. It’s as if we like losing.
