@anuraggoel @render Awesome! Think it still needs to be updated in the product though! (tells me it's disabling if I move to pro)

@sumirandas2 @render I’m on pro and by default I go to scale? If I wasn’t paying attention I would have had a large bill August 1. Can you explain why the default are a higher account?

@render with your new pricing can a hobby plan pay the extra $0.25 per domain per month to have more than 2 domains?

Exciting to see @Base44 Super Bowl ads! And @render scaling to support it!
Meagan Gamache@meaganrgamache

Base44 is on @render. Their brilliant Super Bowl ad drove massive demand—and the platform scaled without a hiccup. This isn’t our first rodeo. The Pete Buttigieg campaign ran on Render, handling debate-night traffic spikes effortlessly. If you’re building for big moments, build on Render.

End of an era. @heroku you will be missed dearly. Pushing Rails apps with one command. 🫡 Now we need to find a good home for our apps.

Going to be in SF later this week. HMU if we're mutuals or you're building something great in dev tools or applied ai. A few areas of particular interest: - Orchestrating autonomous loops. Curious about two areas in particular. 1) sensors for some key activity that, upon analysis, motivates self-healing or self-improvement 2) what new data infrastructure (if any) needs to exist for companies to aggregate signals from various sensors? - Agent-native procurement particularly as it relates to coding agents provisioning new infrastructure. Agent-driven payments are interesting broadly, but I kind of like coding agents buying up infra for new projects as the tip of the spear. - I still think the way we're approaching spec driven development is wrong. My intuition is that there's a new paradigm that hinges on treating documentation as the core substrate. - As we start to treat agents as a new employee type, what new tooling do we need to manage them. Much of the conversation so far has centered on task management/orchestration. I think there's more to explore around the idea of the accumulating process knowledge that guides agent work. A lot of agent design likely reduces down to strong documentation practices and gathering performance feedback...

Life update: After ~7 years at @Zoom, I’ve joined @render . I've always admired the work that @anuraggoel & the team at Render has been doing, and I am excited to help developers build their companies on this platform. If you’re building, come build on Render, DM's open.

@GoogleAIStudio is so great for prototyping, @GeminiApp model is superb. Now the bottleneck is your deployment process and missing feature to directly wire to a domain. As a software engineer and @googlecloud user I understand why you ask for this piece of information, but you should really go try @Lovable and v0 and @bolt and shorten user friction in development. If we can make it work for user with one click, don't ask for two. That said, @GoogleAIStudio studio is amazing.

Meanwhile @julesagent is doing a great job partnering @render to provide preview which is a huge win in easy-to-use aspect compared to integrating with @googlecloud Cloud Run.
