@swang_co very true i also think community is so special/valuable because it's unattainable. not everyone can build a real community or keep a community alive & growing, which makes the ones that do stand out

Community building is a luxury Born out of goodwill - not to monetize or sell. You find joy and meaning out of bringing people together for a common purpose. Not for self gain. It is human nature to want to connect, and hosting curating experiences that allow for it to happen is a privilege. Not everyone can afford to build community, but obviously see the intrinsic value in doing so. Which is what makes it a luxury to have, but often unattainable to reach if done incorrectly or without good intent. (my late night thots 🤷‍♀️)
