Pune was 80 sq kilometres and had 400 kms of road with over 59% of the population having access to public transportation. No traffic jams and No air pollution. Now, Pune is 350 sq kilometres and with 2500 kilometres of road - 7X what Pune was, only 20% of people have access to public transportation now and the traffic in Pune is a nightmare / gridlock and the air is not worth breathing. Past precedent evidences more road = more traffic What are you trying to cheat us into… Out of the 2500 kilometres of road your IPS IAS officials insist that 90% of the traffic uses 285 kilometres or 11% of the road length of Pune, yet in the same breath they insist that Punes road length deserves doubling. Who are you trying to fool ? Out of the entire 2500 kilometres of road length - Pune roads are plagued by 400 kilometres of missing links, Yet; you insist that building worthless projects such as RFD roads, Tekdi Tunnels, patallok, triple level and double decker flyovers and ring roads which you insist will solve the problems. Why are you cheating the city ?! You belong to the Shirole family, Your father never indulged in a single ₹ s worth of corruption and always told the contractors who came to bribe him to use the money to do a better job. Your uncle built JM road into a best in class road in Pune with Recondo. Have some shame and grow up to begin speaking the truth. Stop this chori - you can do better.
