@SamirKhazaka @mweinbach Yeah however Google have plenty of their services on iOS. Like the Gemini app and their upcoming ai studio app. I don’t see an issue in this particular case since it’s likely a large part of their user base.

@mweinbach If you bought the phone, you should be able to buy whatever you want. If the company is providing it, it really should be the company's products. If you want to use it in a demo, you need to think hard about pros and cons for the audience and message you are trying to get across.

Forcing employees to use your companies product is a great way to get employees to leave but it also means your product is not good enough If your employees willing choose to use something else, your product is worse and needs to be improved until they willingly use it

@pawelk411 @munchivelo @Cloudflare The issue is that passwords are often compromised in phishing attacks, passkeys are essentially immune to that based on its use of cryptographic keys - no authentication will ever be 100% safe but I think passkeys are a step forward

Passwords are a pain. Are you fully onboard with Passkeys yet or are you still holding onto your password manager for dear life? #CloudflareChat

@munchivelo @Cloudflare What about storing passkeys within a password manager? That’s the best option then right?

@Cloudflare hacks that create their own passkeys from your own pc are the exact reason they can bypass your passwords. encrypted password managers are here to stay, and the only thing actually protecting us from browser profile hacks.

@Cloudflare Passkeys are cancer! Passwords all the way. Don't put words into people's mouths like that pathetic "Passwords are pain"!

@aguscruiz Yeah 100% agree, easy for them to just copy another brand but they have their own design language here and I quite like it. Haven’t used it yet obviously but from these screenshots it looks quite neat!

I've seen a lot of hate towards this redesign, but honestly? Props to the designers and the team for taking such a bold direction. I know how overwhelming criticism can be when you dare to make something that's actually different. So here, one of your competitor's designers is saying: Congrats on the launch and hat's off for daring to do something new.

Mozilla just officially confirmed the biggest Firefox redesign in YEARS. Project Nova is coming. And honestly? Firefox finally looks ready to fight back against Chrome again. Mozilla says Nova will bring: • faster performance • cleaner UI • redesigned tabs/icons • easier privacy controls • vertical tabs • split view • better accessibility • deeper customization • improved dark mode • built-in VPN visibility • AI kill switch controls The most interesting part: Mozilla specifically said this is a “renewal, not a replacement.” Meaning: they’re trying to modernize Firefox WITHOUT turning it into another Chrome clone. Performance is also getting major attention: Mozilla claims Firefox improved key page load times by 9% over the past year. And yes… Compact Mode is officially returning after community feedback. That alone tells you Mozilla is actually listening to power users again. You can already enable Nova right now in Firefox Nightly: browser.nova.enabled Honestly feels like Mozilla finally realized browser UI matters again.

@SnazzyLabs I feel like we need a PSA for passkeys. I feel like I get a different answer to “What are they?” Depending on who I ask. - they are not used for 2FA in the traditional sense, passkeys are meant to replace your email and password + 2FA to just Passkeys. It was meant to be easier!

@heyyritik_ @Spotify To be fair there are a lot more regulations across Europe and other continents that releasing in America first is always easier. I’m sure it’ll eventually make its way to other countries

Spotify: “Reserved tickets for REAL fans based on listening history” Translation: Only if you’re American and paying Premium. The rest of the planet (India, UK, EU, everywhere else) can keep streaming 24/7 while US users get the tickets. Our data is good enough to sell but not good enough for perks? This isn’t “fan love” it’s straight-up regional discrimination and cash grab. Roll it out globally or admit you only care about American wallets.

I wanted a good way of navigating to older episodes of a podcast, so I made a podcast app where you can swipe back to older episodes from the player
