The @FCC is leading the way in modernizing space spectrum policy. This is how America stays ahead in the new space race.
@BrendanCarrFCC nailed it: “The American companies, even the weird ones and cool ones, need plentiful access to spectrum…With today's action, we continue our spectrum abundance agenda to support our builders in space."

The startup develops AI-driven data ingestion and analysis to modernize radio frequency and critical communications infrastructure. Investors include @foundersysk, @squadra_vc, and @a16z. - Applied Atomics has raised $8.3M. The company is focused on building nuclear power plants using established light-water reactor designs, with an emphasis on execution, deployment, and system integration. - VectorWave has emerged from stealth. The Boston startup raised $2.5M and developed AI capable of running directly on RF signals. - VICTUS Technologies, Inc. has raised a seed round. With a $5M round led by @a16z alongside @squadra_vc and @foundersysk, we’re solving a critical, invisible bottleneck in American national security: radio frequency (RF) spectrum coordination. Nearly all modern technology– from 5G on our smartphones to weather satellites and next-generation autonomous defense systems– depends on spectrum access. Yet, as demand for connectivity soars, the government systems used to allocate spectrum licenses and coordinate usage are stuck in a bygone era. Slow, manual workflows stall innovation and allow our adversaries to outpace us. Airbase is building the modern infrastructure for RF spectrum licensing, coordination, and intelligence. This isn’t merely a vision. We’ve secured an active contract with the U.S. Government to build and deploy the modern, software-defined data and coordination layer.
