We stand at a pivotal moment in our history, where the survival of the Tigrayan people as a united and thriving community hangs in the balance. Despite the immense suffering and loss endured over recent years, the Ethiopian government shows no remorse. Instead, it is relentlessly preparing for another brutal round of conflict. This new phase of violence is being preceded by a calculated strategy of socio-economic weakening aimed at shattering our unity and undermining our capacity to defend ourselves. The government’s actions—blocking essential supplies such as oil, denying budgets including civil servants’ salaries, and shutting down development institutions established after the Pretoria Agreement—are clear attempts to cripple the people of Tigray from within. These measures, combined with ongoing military movements that violate the Pretoria Agreement and impose embargoes and sanctions, leave us no choice but to resist fiercely. Our national institutions are mobilizing, reorganizing, and strengthening their efforts to confront this existential threat head-on. We call upon the international community to recognize these aggressive actions not merely as political maneuvers, but as deliberate steps toward genocide. It is imperative that the world acknowledge the ongoing atrocities and the grave implications of the Ethiopian government’s policies. The fight for national survival, sovereignty, and unity is more critical now than ever. We remember and honor our martyrs whose sacrifice inspires us to continue this struggle with unwavering resolve. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Teaching Process Halted as Teachers Remain Unpaid Forcing Schools to Close in Abergelle Yechila of Central #Tigray ---- The teaching and learning process in Abergelle Yechila district of Central Tigray has come to a complete halt following the continued withholding of teachers’ salaries, local official confirmed. According to the head of the district’s Education Office, Gizyawi Teklay, education services in all 46 schools have been suspended after teachers stopped work over unpaid wages. The shutdown affects 41 primary schools, 5 secondary schools, and has left 28,827 students out of class. A total of 1,078 teachers and school leaders have been forced to cease duties. Gizyawi said repeated efforts to resolve the crisis through community discussions failed, as the demands of teachers remain unaddressed. He added that the district lacks the capacity to manage a problem of this scale without external intervention. Issuing a stark warning, Gizyawi stressed that the prolonged disruption puts an entire generation’s education at risk and has pushed teachers and their families into severe hardship. He urged the Federal Government to take immediate action and ensure the payment of teachers’ salaries, stressing that the future of thousands of students depends on a swift resolution.

ሰሞኑን ሰው ለማስታመም በጥቁር አንበሳ ሆስፒታል ተገኘሁ ። የሚታየው ነገር ሁሉ ህመም ላይ ይጥላል ። የኤምአርአይ ፣ ሲቲስካን ፣ ኤክስሬይ ፣ አልትራሳውንድ ፣ የኩላሊት እጥበት ፣ የጨረር ህክምና መስጫ መሳሪያዎች በአንድ ጊዜ ብዙ ሺ ታካሚዎችን ስለሚያስተናግዱ በተለያየ ጊዜ ይበላሻሉ ። በፅኑ ህሙማን ክፍል ተኝተው የሚታከሙ ታካሚዎች እነዚህን ምርመራዎች ለማድረግ ለሰአታት ወረፋ ይጠብቃሉ። በመኝታ ክፍል ህንፃ ፡ ታካሚዎች ፣ ሀኪሞች ፣ አስታማሚዎች እንዲመላለሱበት ከተሰሩት ሊፍቶች ውስጥ የሚሰራው አንድ ብቻ ነው። እርሱም ለሊፍት አንቀሳቃሹ ሰው ከውስጥ በቀዳዳ የፎቅ ቁጥር በጩኸት እየተነገረው ነው የሚቆመው። ለህክምና አገልግሎት አሰጣጥ አያመችም ። ከፅኑ ታካሚዎች ጋር አብረው የሚንቀሳቀሱ የመተንፈሻ መሳሪዎችንና የመሳሰሉትን ለመጫን ያዳግታል ። ቢበላሽ በሰከንዶች መዘግየት ምክንያት ህይወት ሊጠፋ ይችላል። ዊልቸር ለማግኘት ከፎቅ ፎቅ መመላለስና ሌላ ታማሚ እስኪለቅ ለደቂቃዎች መጠበቅ ግድ ይላል ። መድኃኒት ከቤቱ መድኃኒት ቤት ማግኘት ሱሚ ነው ፣ በብዙ ሺ ብሮች ከአስታማሚ ኪስ እየወጣ የሚገዛው ከውጪ ነው ። የእጅና የፊት መሸፈኛ ጭንብሎችን ጨምሮ ከፕላስተር አቅም ሆስፒታሉ አያቀርብም ፤ ለመግዛት ወደ ውጪ ሩጫ ነው ። የሚታዘዙ መድኃኒቶችን ለመግዛት አንድ አስታማሚ ብቻ ያለው ሰው ገንዘቡ ቢኖረው እንኳን ውጪ ሄዶ እስኪመለስ ታካሚው አደጋ ላይ ሊወድቅ ይችላል ። ገንዘብ የሌለው ሰው ከሌሎች አስታማሚዎች በሚገኝ የገንዘብ እርዳታና ለእነርሱ ታማሚ በተገዛ ትርፍ መድኃኒት ያዘግማል ። ቅሪታቸውን አሟጠው መኖሪያቸውን ሸጠው የሚያሳክሙም አልጠፉም ። አለፉ ሲልም ጥለው የሚጠፉ አስታማሚዎች አሉ። ሆስፒታሉ የማይሰጣቸው የደም ምርመራ እና የማሽን ህክምናዎችም አሉ ። ጤና መድህን ለሌለው ሰው የአልጋ እና የቀዶ ጥገና አገልግሎት ክፍያ እንኳን ከአስርና መቶብሮች ወደ ብዙ ሺ ብሮች ተመንድጓል ። በዚህ ሁሉ ፈተና ውስጥ ግን የህክምና ባለሙያዎቹ ወገናቸውን ለማገልገል የሚያደርጉት ጥረት የሚመሰገን ነው ። ይህንን ችግር እያሰብኩ መስኮት ዳር ቆሜ መቆዘም ያዝኩ ። ካለሁበት ጥቂት ኪሎሜትሮች ርቀት ላይ በሚገኘው ግዮን ሆቴል ውስጥ ብዙ ቢሊዮን ብሮች ወጥቶበት የተሰራው ሰው ሰራሽ የውሃ ፏፏቴ ሽቅብ እየተምዘገዘገ ቁልቁል እየወረደ በሙዚቃ ስልት በቀለማት አሸብርቆ ይደንሳል ። ከዚህ ሀሳብ ሽንቴ ቀሰቀሰኝና ወደ መፀዳጃ ቤት አመራሁ ። ለመፀዳጃ ቤቱ የተቀመጠው በርሜል ውሃ የለውም ። ከቧንቧ ውሃ ማግኘት የማይታሰብ ነው ።ግዴታ ለመጠቀም እሽግ ውሃ ይዤ መመለስ ነበረብኝ ። (ከ Henok lemma የተወሰደ)

UN spokesman Stefan Dujarric reiterated the call by the UN Secretary-General for the ongoing tensions and violence and urged all parties to rein in differences through peaceful dialogue He reiterated his call for their release and full implementation of the Pretoria Agreement. The spokesman recalled that in a message on Wednesday, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed deep concern over the recent tensions and violence and called for an immediate calm. Guterres called on all parties to calm the tensions in Tigray. Differences should be resolved through peaceful dialogue and confidence-based measures, he said. The Secretary-General said he is closely monitoring developments in Tigray and called for early restraint to prevent the consequences of the new tensions and conflicts from leading to worsening security problems in the region. Guterres said the situation could have a potential impact on civilians and complicate the process of rebuilding and recovering Tigray.
