Mercer, the global benchmark multinational companies actually use to decide where to place people, has ranked Hyderabad India's #1 city for quality of living for seven consecutive years, climbing globally from 153rd to 150th - ahead of Pune, Bengaluru and Mumbai. A separate 2026 liveability study placed Hyderabad first among India's metros this year, beating Bengaluru to the top spot on genuine strength across housing, commute and cultural diversity, not one standout category propping up weak ones. And the practical case is just as real: Hyderabad runs 15-25% more affordable than Bengaluru, with comparable housing costing 30-40% less and considerably less traffic. This talent pipeline runs through @THubHyd, the world's largest startup incubator by facility size, and still the anchor of Hyderabad's startup ecosystem, home to MATH - India's largest AI/ML Centre of Excellence. In December 2025, @Google chose T-Hub for its first AI-first Startup Hub in the country, inaugurated by Chief Minister @revanth_anumula.
