Went to a gas station and Trump was on TV welcoming King Charles. The attendant was staring at him in disgust. I started staring at him in disgust. Attendant: “He’s crazy.” Me: “I fucking hate him.” This is happening all day in every corner of America.

Fewer than 3 years. That’s all the time we have left. If we lose 2026, we are likely to lose 2028. Our Republican Senate majority hasn’t passed any meaningful legislation, which means many of President Trump’s policies aren’t codified into law. If a democrat president wins 2028, then these 4 years won’t mean anything. The next Department of Homeland Security Secretary will reopen the border — just like Alejandro Mayorkas did. Then, when democrats regain control of the Senate, they will nuke the filibuster & pass legislation to implement automatic mail-in ballots in all 50 states. Ballot harvesting will be the law of the land. They will stack the Supreme Court, add 2 new democrat Senators with the creation of DC as a state, & establish a permanent democrat majority. We have the power to stop this, but the question is whether or not @LeaderJohnThune wants to be remembered as a hero or a villain.

@nickgerli1 @DenverCOrealEst I do RE here in Chicago and you're pretty much spot on in the description but as far as the net migration you'd also have to look at the apartment availability people might be parking themselves there waiting for a chance to get a house.

Chicago's housing market is in crisis. Listings are down 59% from pre-pandemic norms. There were 30k listings across the metro back in 2019. Now there's only 12k. Such a massive inventory shortage is creating bidding wars and double-digit value growth in some pockets. Until this shortage is resolved, home values in the Chicago metro will keep going up. Check your ZIPs inventory by downloading the app: reventure.app/mobileZIP's

I’d love to keep the filibuster and make filibustering senators speak That’s how the filibuster is supposed to work—protecting robust debate in the Senate It no longer does that; it now forestalls debate Enforce the filibuster Or nuke it The status quo empowers Democrats
Rick Scott@SenRickScott

We have to SAVE the SAVE America Act. I’m grateful for American patriots like @BasedMikeLee for not letting up. We must keep up the good fight to deliver SECURE elections for the American people — even if it means BLOWING UP the filibuster. 🇺🇸

I hate to agree with this antisemitic Iranian propagandist for the first time. Trump’s weak handling of the Iran war and his inability to achieve regime change only strengthened China’s geopolitical standing. In the event of a permanent peace agreement, all Arab countries — except the UAE — will turn to China for protection. The UAE will stay under Israel’s shield.

🚨WTF: Trump on Joe Kent: "I'm not a fan of the guy… His wife was killed. He remarried fairly quickly." Trump cheated on his 1st wife with his 2nd wife, cheated on his 2nd wife with his 3rd wife, and when pregnant, cheated with a porn star. Get real.

@FrStephenImb As Catholics, we have a choice of Airlines... our baptism is good at the Eastern Orthodox Church. Do not claim a monopoly on Christ's Authority on Earth. Stay out of Politics the church that does not have clean hands. Please pray for us sinners. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The disrespect that so many Catholics here are showing Pope Leo is disgusting. Yea, yea, yea you all will give me the litany of the reasons you have for your disrespect. You will pummel me with questions like, “but Father, what about this, this, and this…” Well I have a question for you! Who do you all think you are? You are the holy ones? The prayerful ones? So filled with the Holy Spirit? Who are you to scrutinize and judge every single word and action of Christ’s authority on earth? The pharisaical nature of American Catholics is truly coming out. And then, so many denigrating the Pope at every turn at the same time minimize and rationalize every action and diatribe of our President? Here is a reflection for us all…Proverbs 9:10.

@catholicbob There's lots of reasons to question the church they're only men and very infallible men at that. We do not let the State of Affairs affect our faith but seek to improve it.... why don't you tell me why they put a prayer room for Islamists in the Vatican Library??

I was today years old when I learned there is a heresy called “Americanism”. It was declared by Pope Leo XIII (coincidence?) in 1899. It’s characterized by basically putting your own conscience above the Church. From the left it might include support for abortion or same-sex marriage, but it seems like we’re starting to see a manifestation of it from the political right in questioning the Pope’s authority to comment on American involvement in wars or immigration policies. We’re even seeing questions about the legitimacy of this Pope. If your first (or even second) instinct on hearing the Pope calling for peace was to assume it was an attack on Trump, or worse, to attack the Pope, you need to examine your conscience. We are Catholic Americans, not American Catholics. Our first duty is to the Church, not our national government.

I have been pretty emphatic the last few days in condemning Pope Leo’s foray into American politics. My detractors are having fun stating that I am doing this out of allegiance to President Trump and that I have chosen Trump over God. WRONG. The biggest reason by far why I am so vocal on this is the damage Pope Leo is doing to the Catholic Church in the USA. I believe Pope Leo has done more to harm US Catholicism in just a few days than any other Pope of the past 100 years (even Francis). Pope Leo is literally causing orthodox, faithful American Catholics to flee the Church out of disgust over his leftwing politicization and his kowtowing to Islam. Moreover, he has opened the door for boundless criticism against Catholicism from certain Protestant denominations and churches, causing untold harm to Christian ecumenism in the USA. It is precisely because I care so much about the Church that Jesus founded in AD 33 that I oppose the havoc Pope Leo has unleashed in the US Church. (And yes, under Church doctrine and as a Catholic, I am fully entitled to hold such beliefs and express them.)

@thedriessen @sentdefender Dude, we had a deal with the Iranians that was being followed. We’ve now taken a step back after losing 13 lives and billions of dollars. Also, why was Vance wasting time campaigning for Orban anyway? Ridiculous moves by this admin.

Embarrassing trip this past week for U.S. Vice President JD Vance and the Trump Administration, beginning with a visit to Hungary to campaign for Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who just suffered one of the worst defeats in a European Parliamentary Election, and ending with failed peace negotiations in Islamabad to end the ongoing Iran War.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 JD Vance is stepping to the mic any second now... VP’s been locked in non-stop trilateral talks with Iran and Pakistan for the past 16 hours straight. We have to pay as much attention to what JD Vance isn’t saying as to what he is 🧐 Source: @sentdefender

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Forget the nukes, the missiles, and the proxies. The Islamabad talks are about one thing: cash. Sources inside the negotiations reportedly say Iran's demands are almost entirely financial. Release $7 billion in frozen funds held in Qatar and elsewhere. Lift oil sanctions. Pay economic compensation. Get money flowing immediately. The Strait of Hormuz is leverage for that objective. Iran wants control and revenue from transit because it needs the income, not because of ideology. Tehran's Central Bank governor is in the room. You don't bring your top financial official to a military negotiation. You bring them to a money negotiation. Iran is in economic survival mode. Decades of sanctions followed by six weeks of bombing have pushed the regime to a point where getting paid matters more than getting even. Lebanon, the issue that nearly killed the talks before they started, is "barely being discussed." Tehran pivoted from demanding a regional ceasefire to demanding a bank transfer. Gulf states are pushing hard against any concessions on Hormuz and sanctions relief. They absorbed six weeks of Iranian missiles and don't want Tehran rewarded for it. The U.S. is holding a tough line but the final call is Trump's alone. The irony is striking. A war that started over nuclear weapons is ending over frozen bank accounts. Source: @ImtiazMadmood / NYT

The @POTUS says he ripped up the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement "without much thought." That much is true. Under that agreement, Iran surrendered 97% of its enriched uranium, retaining a small amount of low-enriched material; D/Ced 13k advanced centerfuges and a heavy-water reactor; and submitted to intrusive inspections. They're program was enfeebled and frozen. When Trump ripped up the agreement, they resumed enriching uranium to much closer to weapon grade. Maybe a little forethought would have been a good thing???
